Authentic and dark, didn't want to leave.

Couldn’t have been more welcoming or more helpful. Feels like the evening even in daytime; Irish coffees and their own brewed stout served superbly. Absolutely memorable and magical. A perfect and peaceful Cork classic.

Great pub, Jukebox very good too and smooth pints of Murphys and to top it all, friendly locals.

A pub tucked away in an alleyway, next to the English market, but worth a visit.

Great traditional Irish pub atmosphere. Irish coffee was perfect with fresh espresso.

Good selection of beers although the bartender couldn't answer any questions as simple as, What type of beer is the 'special' listed on the chalk board of beers offered? - it was a good black IPA from a local Cork brewery according to the barback. No food, but you can bring in food if you like. The entrance is located on a narrow alley leading into the English Market. The ally also serves as the pub's smoking section. Traffic & parking in the area is rediculous, so don't drive there. The music was a mix of classic rock and some newer metal and /or grunge tunes I didn't recognize. I mistakenly left my relatively cheap sunglasses by the window where I was sitting and they were gone when I returned from using the toilet upstairs. I checked at the bar to see if someone had turned them in, but I wasn't so lucky. That's on me, but I reduced my atmosphere rating by a star because of it.

Beamish!! Bartenders did they best they could to keep up. Extremely busy even early in the afternoon Saturday. Not my type of place, was neat to explore though.

There are no food options but the bar vibe is great. Its a old irish pub and with very cozy environment. Specifically in the evening or night it feels magical to have a pint inside that place. It feels like movie set.

A must-visit at least once. It's very interesting because it still has the screen at the bar separating Catholics from Protestants. Although this partition no longer exists.

No food, IMO the best pint in town.
