Went here after a recommendation from a friend. Very chilled out and a great atmosphere. Reminds me of my favourite pub from years ago. The first night we were there, the music consisted of Joy Division, Nirvana and Pink Floyd. In my book it doesn't get better than that. Nice mix of people there too. I'd definitely go back, and you should too. Oh, and by the way, the staff are super friendly. Tell them I send ya! ;-)

One of great bars in Cork and one of oldest. Located in a lane off English Market. Originally was a pub for people delivered meat to market, hence the name. Recommended

A unique pub you absolutely must visit, with a great atmosphere! Super friendly waiter. Really enjoyable chill rock music. Go there with your eyes closed.

The oldest pub in Cork. A truly unique place to quench your thirst with a pint of beer. Oh! And most importantly, they have a Jethro Tull poster... it's a real eye-catcher. A must-see.

Beautiful historic pub, very cosy setting. Busy on a Saturday night as you'd expect but we still managed to get a seat. Great selection of beers and pretty reasonable prices for the city centre.
