We had our wedding at the New Park in November 2025. Having booked the Hotel almost two years in advance there was always someone to contact along the way with any questions.
While there was some minor changes in staff along the way the process never changed and replacements settled seamlessly.
The reception, meal, service and facilities including pool and open spaces were second to none with assistance available at all stages from the extremely helpful staff. Mr Flynn himself was often present when we visited and it defined their marketing as a 'Family Run Hotel'.
Thank you for having us,
Darragh and Katie.

Positives
1. Staff all professional and friendly
2. Lovely pool and spa area.
3. Lovely Christmas decorations in the lobby.
4. Activities for kids.
Negatives
1. Outdated and needs a refurbishment
2. Worst breakfast I have had in a Hotel. Was like hospital cafeteria food.
3. Room 220 is beside the life so you here the motor going every time some one uses the lift.
4. The air con wasn't working proper in the room and the bathroom floods when you use the shower.

Lovely hotel. But we are home and shattered after barely sleeping with 2 toddlers in a family room, alarms going off in the rooms at 1am, 1:30am and 3:30am. After the second alarm went off at 1:30 I went to reception with my heart beating out of my chest with the fright and I was assured it would not happen again , but it did. The staff apologized and were nice but you don't spend a few hundred euro for a nice getaway not to sleep , in the morning there was no extended checkout or even a free coffee to make sure you got home safe driving. I literally could not stay awake and neither could my wife on our journey back to Dublin, overdosed on caffeine and rested but it's simply not good enough. I hope management see this and reach out as an apology at the front desk doesn't cut it I'm afraid.

It’s a good family hotel. Despite the mixed reviews for the restaurant, we had a very nice meal on the first night, with the staff being attentive and the food coming quickly. They seem to know that we are here with kids and try to make things efficient!
The Jurassic Park attraction was fun, and our toddler had a great time. She also enjoyed the kids pool.
Breakfast was great! The coffee was great too, not the usual awful stuff you get from a lot of hotels.
There were two less than ideal experiences, both at reception. 1) we were skipped when a rude person skipped the queue. The person on the desk knew this because she beckoned us over. 2) my uncle died and we needed an extra hour at checkout. It was 30 euro. I thought you could have just let that go.

The hotel is quite good for families with young kids, but we stayed in the older part of the hotel in rooms that don’t have air-con. I would not recommend it, as the room was stiflingly hot (despite using the fan provided). Possibly one of the worst nights sleep I’ve had in a long, long time.

I attended a luncheon here. The set menu did not align with my dietary restrictions, but the staff was super friendly and they gave me alternative dishes for each course that suited. Amazing service and really delicious as well!

Staff were very friendly and obliging, rooms were nice, tried the carvery and the food was delicious and generous, how ever was on the upper limit of what I would pay for a carvery.
