Newpark Hotel Kilkenny with Escape Health Club & Spa in Kilkenny

Had a brilliant time here with small children. Fantastic fun for families. Hotel can be busy with small children and families. Booking is required for the pool, dining and dinosaur bounce in the Dino Park. Food was very nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff from room service to bar men, reception and dining staff were all extremely helpful. Hope to return soon

Lovely ambience at this hotel Far enough outside of town if you don't want a city centre stay. Green surroundings and walks, swimming and infinity pool were a very enjoyable experience and staff were very nice. Had a gorgeous facial from Sergei, thanks again, Sergey.

A group dinner in a private room for approx 20 people. Food beautiful and well presented. Staff excellent. Lovely meal

Absolutely loved our stay here,We chose this hotel as we all have small kids and wanted to stay somewhere child friendly.I have no complaints from the time we checked in until check out was amazing.We had a deluxe family room,which was ideal for our needs.Loved that others had children too (some people didn't which is also grand) but I didn't feel pressured to keep the kids silent etc.The food was really nice,one of the best kids menus I have seen so much choice.The staff were very friendly and helpful.The hotel itself is very comfortable,warm and has great facilities,kids small playroom for tiny kids,kids club(which my 9 yr old loved),family room(baby facilities microwave changing unit etc),games room(arcade games) The swimming pool was actually warm which was lovely,they do sell some items swim hats,suits,shorts,toys,arm bands etc.Jurassic park(free entry for residents)was brilliant great idea and my son absolutely loved it.Had loads to do,go karts,playground,sandpit,face painting,games area,dino train,dino rides,area that you could sit and interact.Dino puppets,fairy walk and fairy houses and then of course seeing all the moving dinos.Dino bounce located on the Jurassic park grounds was very good (additional cost but very cheap)it's a covered area and divided into two sections under 4's and over 4's which was a good idea to separate them.Location of the hotel is very good.5min walk to local garage,7mins by car to Dunnes stores and some other shops in a shopping centre.Roughly 10mins by car to city centre.5mins by car to the national reptile zoo (which my kids loved, especially the live reptile demos)Would highly recommend for families but even without kids I would stay here(I believe there is an adults only floor and noticed when dining for breakfast anyone with no kids has the joy of having their breakfast in peace without kids😊 in a separate room. We will definitely be back again. The only constructive criticism I would have is the games room had two ps4's and mounted TVs on the wall,but I was disappointed to see one was out of order and the other PS4 was removed(personally this didn't effect my stay however I think for an older aged child it may be disappointing for them to see it and not be able to play/access it) if this was amended then I think that would be amazing.

We went as a family to the Newpark Hotel last Friday evening for something to eat. I have to say the level of service we received was exceptional. This was in no small part to our waitress (who I think was called Katie) who could not do enough for us. Our two small kids were delighted which made our life and our meal all that more enjoyable. Thank you.

Amazing food staff so friendly, bedrooms really comfortable and the room was very clean. Breakfast was lovely and a great selection

Had most amazing magical Christmas at the new park hotel killkenny with my 2 children so warm and helpful and friendly. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you New Park Team 😃

Great hotel friendly staff good service.

Disappointed with the pool mainly the only reason we picked a hotel with pool,,, swimming lessons going on very loud couldn't relax at all,,,, residents only it should be,,,and when I looked at the menu for Scots bar/restaurant I nearly fainted,,,,the prices are redicolus and the names of the meals make no sense your actually afraid to sit and order because of the cost, well we were anyway,I then asked was there carvery to be told ,yes,but it only runs up to 2.30 ,,,,REALLY,,,,if your looking for a tea or latte I strongly advise go outside local garage or cafe,,,lot cheaper,,,,I don't understand the four star rating id be more so 3,,,but yet again that's just me,,,there is a bit more I can rant on about but I'll just leave it at that,,,,will i be back,,, unfortunately not...but one last thing,,we ate out in Luna's takeaway now that I can recommend 😉

Really lovely hotel. Lots for our two and four year old to do. Food in Scotts was amazing. Very clean and staff friendly. Perfect for a few nights away!
