2025 Have eaten there twice in past month. One of the best Chinese we have eaten in for a long time. Excellent food, great value & owner Helen is very nice. Our go to place in Ballina.

Outstanding food when visiting ballina this is definitely the one to go to. I can express how much we loved the food, the flavours, the presentation everything was excellent. Mixed platter for 2 is a great start but the chicken satay skewers were on another level as was the salt and chilli chicken ❤️

Lantern Chinese Restaurant

17/10/2025: Made a reservation here for a family occasion and managed to get a table with a lovely view of the river. The menu offered a great variety of dishes and the food was served promptly. The portion sizes were generous and the food was delicious. The staff were professional, attentive, and very friendly. They even surprised us with a birthday plate and sang happy birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be visiting again!
04/08/2025: Came across this chinese restaurant, we decided to have tea , OMG it was absolutely delicious 🤤!!!! Besides the food the service was fantastic, Would recommend going there!! You won’t be disappointed!!!
