22/04/2025: 5 Stars – Highly Recommend! Rios Takeaway in Portarlington is hands-down one of my favorite spots. Every meal is freshly cooked to order, and you can really taste the quality and care that goes into it. Their homemade pizza is absolutely top-notch — crispy base, generous toppings, and packed with flavor. And the battered sausages? Easily the best around. Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside — comfort food done right. What really sets Rios apart, though, is the atmosphere and the people behind the counter. This isn’t just a takeaway; it’s a place built on family values and genuine friendships. You can feel it the moment you walk in. The team always greets you with a smile, and there’s a real sense of community that makes every visit feel personal. It’s rare to find a place where the food and the people are both this good. 10/04/2025: Edited to give 5* look at my initial review, and look how lovely and accommodating they are. Great customer service! And can’t wait to order a delicious pizza again… Original review. All the food I have tried so far has been lovely. The only thing stopping me giving it a 5* is because sometimes the chips are a bit firm and could do with a minute or two longer, and also the mushrooms used on the pizza aren’t nice, would prefer fresh mushrooms. Other than that their curry and/or garlic cheese chips is delicious. Southern fried chicken is juicy and the Ollie bowl is 5* all by itself as is most of the pizzas on the menu.
