O'Dea's Bistro in Portarlington

Lovely restaurant with a charming old Irish atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even nicer. I ordered the Wagyu burger — it was tasty and well-prepared, with good-quality beef, mushrooms, and onions. I expected a bit more depth of flavor given the description, maybe something to add a little contrast like a pickle, but overall it was still a very good burger in a great setting. Would happily visit again.

Excellent food served efficiently by friendly staff.

Love O'Deas however was very disappointed recently with their chicken curry, portion was tiny. There were only 4 very small pieces of chicken in it and hardly any veg. Portion of rice was small also.

The chickpea and spinach curry was gorgeous, the place is oldy worldy with thick beams and a fabulous atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The toilets with sparkling clean

Excellent place, real old world with loads of character. The staff are lovely and friendly, great food and drink & the craic is mighty.
