In a rare display of support at a public venue, they have taken a stance against the genocide. Kudos to this pub! Have not forgotten their history, struggles endured and show solidarity. Everything we embark today is political, and pleased to say this pub is on the right side of history 🙏

The place is great, good atmosphere, the only downside is that it gets very crowded and it's a bit difficult to order. I don't recommend the tacos. All in all, it's a good place with a wide variety of events throughout the week; it's a good option.

We found it to be a very welcoming place, with excellent and truly helpful staff. The food is delicious and plentiful, and the prices are great! Highly recommended for a great local Irish experience in Cork.

Nice bar with usually good bar staff. But watchout for south American bar boy with black dreadlocks and glasses. If you leave your drink on the bar unattended, when you return you will have a different drink in it's place and god only knows what he put in to it. It won't be what you originally ordered. ASK FOR ANGELA! Get bouncers and management to Check the cameras.

From the outside it looks like a small pub, but when you enter inside you will conclude that you are in a very large pub with several bars, the staff is tidy and at the service of the guests, the food is freshly prepared and good, the toilets are clean and tidy...recommended.

The Wilton

04/04/2026: We have so many good memories with family and friends in The Wilton from over the years and we will always miss the old Wilton. However, it’s clear that alot of work went into the revamp and overall I think it’s been very positive so far. Also, keeping the original mantle piece with the late founder’s name engraved was a touch of class by new management. Personally, I think more of a balance between the typical city centre bar and a suburban establishment is needed. For example, the live music acts and bouncer’s approach should be tweaked from those typical of a city centre bar. Wising new management all the best, we will be rooting for The Wilton’s success.

18/02/2026: Quite a nice little spot, have been here for a couple of private events recently. Good service and reasonably priced
09/02/2026: Super kind and attentive staff. Booked 15 people for a surprise party for a friend. Outstanding service, staff made sure we have the best spot and arranged the seats for us so everyone can be close together and not in separate tables or apart. They also helped us putting candles on the cake, slicing and serving. Totally didn't expect such kindness, so thank you so much for hosting us! Also had the best ginger beer and good music, not too loud, awesome vibes. Highly recommend.
