Ole ole @ the Priory in Youghal

Cycled the Midleton Youghal greenway and was looking for a nice lunch spot. priory did not disappoint. Delicious sandwiches and friendly service . I’d definitely come back.

Stopped by Priory Coffee Co. on a recent trip to Youghal, and it was a delightful find! The atmosphere is modern and inviting, with moody lighting and great music that sets a relaxed vibe. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome right away. I ordered a mocha coffee, and the Badger & Dodo coffee lived up to its reputation—rich, smooth, and easily one of the best cups I’ve had in a while. The breakfast menu was a highlight. I went for the avocado toast on their gluten-free bread, which was fresh and perfectly prepared. My friend got the full Irish breakfast, and the portion was generous enough to keep us fueled for hours. They also have vegan and vegetarian options, which is a big plus for mixed groups. The only downside was that the place was quite busy, so service took a little longer than expected, but nothing major. The decor, with its nod to the historic Benedictine Priory, adds a unique charm. If you’re in Youghal and need a spot for a quality coffee or a hearty breakfast, Priory is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back next time

You can eat inside and outside. It was delicious and I enjoyed it.

This place is a gem. Simple options really well done and great service. I would seek out this mini chain. Loved it.

Was looking forward to their hot food and as maps say 6pm closing, we came at 4:30 but they said they’re closing at 5. They should change the times then as this was going to be my treat for mothers day lunch. We carried on in ordering drinks and pastries - done in a timely manner. As it was a very modern cafe, they usually have many different teas - so I specified black tea please, she didn’t understand, I clarified Irish breakfast tea, she was still confused until I said “normal tea”. It’s just small things like this that do not make a customer feel welcome. Hoping to come back at a better time and setting, the rest of the reviews look good.

Priory ballincolling. Got 2 lattes yesterday perfect and hot . Got 2 today 1 was short and both were luke warm. No consistency across staff needs to be addressed . Good atmosphere and hot coffee was spot on.
