Fabulous staff and fantastic restaurant

A great pub, restaurant, guest House. Super friendly, great value food, indoor areas, outdoor dining, an off-licence, meeting rooms. It meets do many needs and occasions. Community friendly and hugely supportive of local organisations including holding events. Highly recommend.

Out of the 3 different hotels we stayed at while on holiday in Ireland the orchard house was by far the most comfortable. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean. The staff were always accommodating. Would recommend!

Stopped in for dinner and had a lovely time great food and service no waiting which is great when with kids the bacon burger is absolutely amazing the kids burger was also amazing (I'm reliable informed)😀 lovely pint of Guinness live music what more could you want 👍🏻

My mom and I stayed here for 1 night at our stop in Kilkenny. It was so quaint, the staff was extremely friendly (John the owner checked on us multiple times and Amanda our server was so so sweet and accommodating). The room was very comfortable and had air conditioning! We wish we could have stayed longer and couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone visiting Kilkenny. It is a half hour walk to Kilkenny castle and the bar downstairs was great for some evening beers and playing cards. Love love love it here !!!!!

One of our favourite places we stayed at during our trip around Ireland. Clean and tidy rooms with a great restaurant below that had great food. Would highly recommend!

We arrived for food. Completely let down, orders taken and no idea if they were uploaded into the system but food had to be asked for twice, it was overcooked when it arrived.. the steak sandwich was too chewy, not sure what kind of steak it was but it was a cheap cut.

Only used the restaurant. Second time there. Would recommend but book a table
