Orso in Cork

Beautiful food. For a small menu it catered for coeliacs vegans vegetarians and the rest of us without scrimping on flavour. The staff were so knowledgeable on the coeliac options and mentioned again as placing food on table. So reassuring. Love it here.

Wonderful dinner at Orso last night. We were a party of three and each had three courses. Every single course was exceptional!!! The highlight was probably the whole sea bass which was cooked to perfection. Truly fabulous staff who couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive. Thank you Orso, we will of course be back!

Had one of the best meals of 2024 in Orso last week. Absolutely stunning food, including top class plant-based dishes that would leave you wanting second helpings. Staff were efficient, friendly and so attentive. We were lucky to get the two seats at the counter inside the window vs opposite the door which could be a little chilly of a winter’s evening. Genuinely can’t wait to go back.

The food was delicious. Prawns and lamb kofta to start, followed by seabass and lamb shank. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Really liked the Dahl and cauliflower dishes. The flat bread is also lovely. Staff are really attentive. Nice meal we would go back.

They make up for the small size of the place with great service. Lamb köfte and lamb shank were good. Honey Bomb cocktail felt more like rhubarb bomb but overall experience was positive.

Amazing food and hospitality at Orso. The food was delicious with an inventive menu - a fusion of Lebanese style food with local Irish produce. Standout dishes were the specials - burnt aubergine and a tomato chowder style fish main. Cocktails were divine too and kept flowing thanks to Gabie’s service - thank you for a 10/10 meal and evening 😊

Wonderful little gem off the beaten path. I recommend making a booking it is very small. We got lucky and without a booking we sat outside. They are short staffed which caused delay with getting our food but once it came it was delicious. Had the bread with sweet pea humus and dukka. We enjoyed the roasted cauliflower and spicy prawns and broccoli salad. Husband had the fish of the day.

Excellent restaurant, great service, outstanding food. We were a party of 8 so booked in advance as it's not a big place. Well worth it and good value for the amazing, mostly seafood dishes that we had plus cocktails which went down well.
