When entered, didn’t feel any welcoming reception. Stood for couple minutes in front of the bar until someone chined up and said hi.

My parents and I managed to get a walk in on a Tuesday night while we were visiting Galway. This restaurant is an absolute Galway must see! Our lovely waiter Ilija/ Ilya had the best wine recommendations, the oysters were the best I have had in Ireland and the fish dishes we had were so good we didn’t even stop to take a photo of it for this review first.
It’s a seafood forward restaurant that mixes flavors from all over the world to highlight the beauty of local irish seafood. If you aren’t a seafood fan then this gem will be wasted on you. They even have a gin martini with a fresh oyster in it.

The best fish dish I have ever had. Not only the sea bass was fresh and tasted great, but the sauce the chef created to complement it significantly elevated the experience. I would definitely come again.

Food was amazing!! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, even the drinks!! Restaurant is small but cozy. Definitely worth the money!

The raw oysters were very nice sized. The sea bass was perfectly moist, tender and well seasoned. The scallops on a bed of spinach and creamed potatoes were good. A great bottle of New Zealand Marlbough Sauvignon Blanc was the perfect complement to our entries.
We highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant, staff are friendly and helpful. Great fish restaurant, good menu, lots to choose from. Four of us had a fabulous meal, starters, Main and dessert, all were delicious. We had lovely white wine with our meal. Would definitely recommend Oscars, especially for fish lovers.
