Oscars Seafood Bistro in Galway

Lovely restaurant, staff are friendly and helpful. Great fish restaurant, good menu, lots to choose from. Four of us had a fabulous meal, starters, Main and dessert, all were delicious. We had lovely white wine with our meal. Would definitely recommend Oscars, especially for fish lovers.

Excellent and refined Reservations almost required

What we ate was delicious. They say it's a place well-known for the oysters we tried, but... tastes are tastes, and to each his own. The noise level was hellish because the conversations were too loud for my taste. I think we had to act because of the noise level. Unbearable for us. But... tastes are tastes. Maybe it doesn't bother many people.

Great food and wine selection. Friendly, knowledgeable people.

Small, intimate dining. The staff was very attentive and helpful. This is a small restaurant so reservations are recommended.

Excellent restaurant and our server was lovely. If you make a reservation online.- wait until you have confirmation before assuming. We had been offered two times (via email), I responded right away and assumed that we were confirmed but when we got there were told we didn’t have a reservation. The one waiter was quite rude about it even when I tried to explain and show the emails. I get it - they were busy but seriously could use a new taco system! Otherwise one of the best seafood meals I’ve had in ages and our server more than made up for it! Try the Rhubarb gin and tonic!! Delicious!

We've been traveling around Ireland for two weeks, and this was our absolute best discovery. The dishes are original and modern. A good value. Excellent ingredients and bold flavors that enhance the fish. A true spectacle. Reservations recommended.

Tuvimos que comer en un restaurante de mariscos mientras visitaba Galway City y Oscar's no decepcionó. De hecho, es probablemente el mejor marisco fresco que hemos experimentado en muchos años. Una bienvenida amable , personal atento, en un ambiente cómodo y relajante. Las ostras frescas fueron probablemente las mejores que hemos probado y las vieiras elegidas como protagonista fueron simplemente increíbles y realmente deberían ser su plato distintivo. Nuestro restaurante favorito durante unas vacaciones en Galway. El nivel de la comida y la mezcla de los sabores fue excepcional. El servicio fue genial, amable y muy servicial en explicar su elección de ingredientes. Muy recomendable.
