Whether you’re dropping in for a casual meal or bringing someone who’s visiting Galway, it never disappoints. It’s been doing what it does well for years, and that consistency is exactly why it’s such a favourite. Proper comfort food, a solid pint, and great value.

04/01/2026: Not as good as it used to be. Portion sizes and quality of food have taken a noticeable downturn since I last visited a year ago. We had to switch tables as the whole floor of the restaurant was vibrating and it was difficult to have a conversation due to a band practising smashing drums as hard as they could in the basement below, it's shame as it used to be a great little venue
