Go here for breakfast and coffee after dropping kids to school. Lovely friendly staff . Immaculately clean premises, delicious food and varied menu. Very reasonably priced. Dinner menu is brilliant and the featherblade is delicious.

Standard pub. Definitely not a 'gastro' pub, by any broad interpretation of that term. Average burgers. Food took more than 40 mins to arrive at the weekend. More than 7 Euros for what could be described as a meagre fistful of sweet-potato fries. Not exactly filling portions for the money. Found it to be v. overpriced. If this were indeed 'gastropub' food i.e. something along the lines of Tom Kerridge (or something nearer the mark) I'd have no issue with the bill. But it wasn't...Good atmosphere and good location nonetheless.

Excellent value for money! We were a family of 5, ordered a gluten-free menu, and everything was great.

I had the loveliest lunch at Johnos Lunch, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. They went completely above and beyond to make my visit feel special — serving me a beautiful steak for lunch with all the best trimmings. Proper comfort food, cooked to perfection, and made with so much care. It felt like one of those meals you don’t forget. Donal was the absolute star of my time there. From the moment I walked in, he was so welcoming, hilarious, and genuinely attentive. The kind of service that makes you feel instantly at home and well looked after — with plenty of laughs along the way. Amazing food, warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be back 💛🥩✨
