O'Sullivans Bar in Cork

I was very impressed, such a beautiful bar,very friendly staff and very efficient and the food fantastic, compliments to all.

I absolutely love this place, The staff were so friendly and helpful. The wings were gorgeous and the chocolate brownie was unreal 🤩. I came into douglas looking for an enjoyable and affordable meal and o sullivans was where the wind blew me, my experience was nothing short of spectacular. #newfavouriterestaurant

By this point I was running on fumes, so I loaded up and pointed the car back toward Macroom. Still, my stomach had other plans and wasn’t letting this day end without some proper Irish food. I came across O’Sullivans Bar & Restaurant along the way and pulled in, hoping it would deliver. It absolutely did. I went with a toasted feathered beef sandwich, and it was exactly what I needed. Tender beef, rich and savory, layered with a creamy sauce that tied it all together. The bread had that perfect toast on it, just enough crunch to hold everything without getting in the way. Simple, but dialed in. Looking back at the picture, it’s one of those meals you can almost taste again. Exactly the kind of stop that turns a long day into a finished one.

Great menu and even better food

Go here for breakfast and coffee after dropping kids to school. Lovely friendly staff . Immaculately clean premises, delicious food and varied menu. Very reasonably priced. Dinner menu is brilliant and the featherblade is delicious.

Standard pub. Definitely not a 'gastro' pub, by any broad interpretation of that term. Average burgers. Food took more than 40 mins to arrive at the weekend. More than 7 Euros for what could be described as a meagre fistful of sweet-potato fries. Not exactly filling portions for the money. Found it to be v. overpriced. If this were indeed 'gastropub' food i.e. something along the lines of Tom Kerridge (or something nearer the mark) I'd have no issue with the bill. But it wasn't...Good atmosphere and good location nonetheless.
