Park House in Galway

Location and restaurant very good. Bed was way too firm for me and pillows way too soft and flat again for me. May suit others. Charming hotel with great water pressure but my quality of sleep suffered.

Warm, friendly, helpful, comfortable & excellent food!

Hotel is located in a superb location next to ayres square. Although it's an old hotel the staff have this hotel running like clockwork which is a joy to witness. Anna in the bar/restaurant is a joy to watch organising everything whilst also orchestrating the staff like a finely tuned machine in operation, the food was unbelievable and service like nothing we.ve witnessed in years. A huge plus is that no staff were pre occupied with phones while working which can relate very poorly and this is a huge bonus to the staff and owners credit. Will definitely return and also highly recommend from the 1st visit to this fine premises. 5 star rating easily received.

We loved every detail of our stay. The room, staff, breakfast and dinner were great! The whole staff was so very helpful in every way from the parking guys when we arrived to the front desks staff on our way out, and everyone in between. We will definitely return next time we find ourselves in Galway!

This review is about the hotel restaurant. We did not stay here. We were here on August 17th for dinner at 6:00 p.m. We opted for the set dinner menu of 3 courses for €49.50 each. Our dinners were as follows: *Salmon & Prawn in Puff Pastry, Duet of Prawn & Beef Filet, and Sticky Toffee Pudding *Seafood Selection, Honey Glazed Duck Breast, Chocolate Gateaux Everything was delicious. Lots of seafood in the appetizers, duck cooked well Ina large breast, filet done as ordered, followed by lovely sweet desserts. Washed down with a bottle of St. Emillion (€31) after opening cocktails at €12 each. Service was excellent, but we would have preferred to see one server only. They work as a team, and we had several look in on us (a little overkill, but much better than absent servers). A very enjoyable night with a great meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want something more than the usual pub fare. Located right near the city center, just off Eyre Square. A busy spot, so make sure you make a reservation!
