Ordered some fish and chips for a family take away dinner. Even though the place was busy, the order took only a few minutes to be ready. The fish was delicious, the sauce that came with the squid rings was very nice. Definitely worth the stop if you are the in area.

Very good fish and chips that have nothing to envy from the biggest chains with in addition a very reasonable price, I really enjoyed myself and it is to this day the best that I have tasted!

The food is good, and there are 4 types of gluten-free food, but the food is overpriced by 21 euros, and it is small! And the kitchen is open and the smell of oil is diffuse

Easily the most delicious bite to eat out of three day stint in Killarney! The best fish cakes ever - simple, fresh, succulent. Loved the salad that went with it too; basic crunchy veg with a creamy dressing. Wish I had gone to their Mad Monk restaurant too.

La comida estaba bien. Pero no es un sobresalto. De hecho, las ostras de la isla de Valencia fueron bastante decepcionantes. No eran regordetes. El lenguado de limón estuvo bastante bien, pero como digo no hay que destacar.

Lir Cafe

09/08/2025: Stopped by for a couple of Americanos to go. The staff indicated that Killarney stopped using disposable cups and that you had to rent a cup for 2 euros each. You can turn in the cup and get your euros back which I did. I was fine with the cup but my wife didn't necessarily care for it.
24/07/2025: Great cappuccino with 3 different plant-based milk options (to pay extra). The scones are excellent! If they considered no single-use plastics for butter and jam everything would be perfect!

Kitty O’Se’s

18/08/2025: We had a fantastic meal in Kitty O'Se's whilst in Killarney. Delicious fresh sea food and a kids menu. Wine was also super. We pre booked via telephone which I would recommend to avoid disappointment as a table is highly sought after.
14/08/2025: fish and chips good (fish better than chips, have had much better chips elsewhere) service incredibly slow - had to flag over server for dessert and check. Confused as to why service was so slow (we were early, there were multiple servers). Not as good as some of the other reviews
