Great location and late breakfast is a big plus

The Rafter's is a tipical pub in the core of Kilkenny. Confortable and lovely accomodation. Very good food and very good live music. Superb breakfast. Peter is a great host!

Owner-run pub in the city center. Many attractions in Kilkenny are directly accessible. Only to unload the street and then a cheap public parking lot a good 300 meters away. Breakfast with a small buffet and then hot breakfast in service.

Je rejoins les commentaires précédents. La chambre était très rudimentaire voire spartiate. Vieillote avec peu de rangement, une litterie qui laisse à désirer, le ferme porte déglingué... j'en passe. En revanche j'ai apprécié l'accueil, l'ambiance du pub, la localisation centrale et surtout le petit déjeuner typiquement irlandais servi à table. A 160 euros la nuit, ça reste un prix mais l'Irlande est chère en général pour se loger.

Despite an unannounced visit, we received excellent service. The food was very good, especially the soup of the day and the catch of the day and the Irish breakfast was included in the good price! The room was pleasantly quiet and clean.
