We came during the matchmaking festival for a drink and the entertainment it was a wonderful afternoon.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Rathbaun twice now - both during the annual singles festival. It’s definitely a hopping place during this time - so if you’re wanting somewhere quiet and nothing - this won’t be it for you. If you’re wanting to have a great time, enjoy the craic, a pint and dance - then you have found the right place! The room was perfect for me, a bit dated decor, but that to me added to the charm. The bathroom was spacious and pristine, and I had no issues with water pressure or temperature. The bed was cozy and very comfortable too. Breakfast was included with our stay, and the food each time was fresh and delicious. My last day there, I had to leave before breakfast to go on a long bike ride, and Lynn was kind enough to fetch me some bananas so I did not ride hungry. Speaking of Lynn- she was the most gracious of hosts! She is extremely kind and helped out so much during my stay. While my mother was enjoying the singles festival this year, I decided to rent a bike and do some day trips from the hotel. They were more than accommodating, and even let me store my bike in their storage overnight. They even offered to make me a sandwich when I came in from a ride after the kitchen had closed. All in all - we had a fantastic stay, and I look forward to staying with them again when back in Lisdoonvarna!

Going to lisdoonvarna, this Hotel is a must its family and they run a fantastic ship. Food is amazing, great craic in the bar, and they even have a wee shop if you need last-minute toiletries or some to snack on. So it's family ran and extremely friendly. I have to give it 10 out of 10. Love the place

We enjoyed our stay at the Rathbaun, travelling as a group of four female friends The rooms were nice and the beds comfy although the decor is a bit dated. Great location. A must in this area is a trip to Doolin which is beautiful. Breakfast was great, was a bit dissapointed when a friend was told to be quiet when speaking to her daughter on the phone, we are pensioners not exactly loud and boisterous.

This family run hotel was simply amazing- truly excellent food, a fabulous bar and the beds were so comfortable!!! And believe the sign- they really do make the best cup of coffee in Ireland! But- most importantly, they are super dog friendly!!! My dog ate dinner with me, hung at the pub, and had breakfast by my side. Super friendly and clean and perfect location for visiting the cliffs of Moher!

Very Quaint and full of charm. Great base for exploring The Burren. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Coffee and tea making facilities. Hosts and staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was very nice indeed. Situated in the centre of town, close to other bars etc.
