Ridgepool Restaurant in Ballina

A week after the ferocious storm which had been on 25 January we went for a ride out to the coast as it was a very sunny, if slightly cool day. Late afternoon we drove to Ballina and thought we'd eat at the Ballina Manor hotel. What an exquisite place!. Lovely sumptuous carpeting and furnishings with dining tables set alongside windows affording lovely views of the river, bridge and the town. The meal was excellent. Very large portions, served hot and with the steak cooked to our liking. The service was excellent too. We cannot wait to eat there again.

From the minute I arrived at the Ballina Manor the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and top marks for cleanliness. They all deserve recognition for excellent customer care, you're not a number here, the personal touch in every aspect of my stay.

This hotel is fantastic. We had an excellent stay here. It's reasonably priced. There are amazing views of the river Moy. The rooms were comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was fantastic with loads of options. We all had something different and everything was top class. The food was deliciously tasty and the presentation was very professional. The dining room itself was huge and impressively laid out. The bar was a nice place to relax in with the amazing view, and had a good selection of drinks. We enjoyed the Italian merlot. There was a great atmosphere both at breakfast in the morning and in the bar at night. The staff are very professional and friendly. We even got a chat and send-off from the owner when we were leaving. Lovely people! We will certainly go back!

I have only eaten and had functions there,but I can say every time the staff were friendly and helpful, the food has always been to a good standard .

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Ballina Manor Hotel, and although we didn’t stay overnight, we were absolutely blown away by the experience and will definitely return to stay in the future. From the moment we arrived, the ease of parking made a great first impression—super convenient and hassle-free! The restaurant is pure luxury, with an elegant, almost magical ambiance enhanced by the soft glow of candles. You could easily mistake the setting for a beautiful wedding venue. The stunning views of the river added even more charm to the evening. The food was not only visually stunning but incredibly flavorful. The portions were huge, and to our surprise, the prices were very reasonable for such high-quality dining. I ordered the duck, which was so tender it melted in my mouth. The kids’ menu was also fantastic, with plenty of options for little ones. The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, making the experience even better. This place offers a perfect blend of elegance and comfort—it truly feels like a hidden gem. We can’t wait to come back, and next time, we’ll make sure to stay overnight to enjoy more of what Ballina Manor Hotel has to offer!
