Ristorante Rinuccini in Kilkenny

Great ambience, very relaxed but attentive staff too. Lovely food, my sole was perfectly cooked and totally delicious, as was my wife's duck. We had a great time and will definitely be back next time we're in Kilkenny.

Gave this place a try after a long absence. I have mixed feelings about it. A busy place, it takes "sittings", so if you wish for a relaxed evening....well!!! One does check the watch..silly self pressure I did find the food good and tasty, but there was a sameness about the menu from previous memories. Service is top class and very old style efficient. You can have a good night out...if you go for the late sitting.

Recently had dinner at Rinucinni Have been coming here the last few years on trips home and the food and service has remained consistently excellent across the last 10 years or so I've been going!

Our first time here, but we'll be back. All our meals were excellent, and even a coeliac vegetarian didn't ruffle any feathers!

On arrival my friend told the waiter about her tomato allergy and he said “why would you come to an Italian restaurant if you can’t eat tomatoes”. It was super rude and unnecessary since there were many options for her on the menu. Atmosphere, wine and the rest of the staff were lovely, fried calamari was delicious, pasta was okay and unfortunately the tiramisu, although being my favorite dessert, I struggled to eat as it didn’t taste authentic and tasted like it’s made offsite.

Wonderful staff - very helpful, menu has great food and the atmosphere is very cozy.
