Ristorante Rinuccini in Kilkenny

Our first time here, but we'll be back. All our meals were excellent, and even a coeliac vegetarian didn't ruffle any feathers!

On arrival my friend told the waiter about her tomato allergy and he said “why would you come to an Italian restaurant if you can’t eat tomatoes”. It was super rude and unnecessary since there were many options for her on the menu. Atmosphere, wine and the rest of the staff were lovely, fried calamari was delicious, pasta was okay and unfortunately the tiramisu, although being my favorite dessert, I struggled to eat as it didn’t taste authentic and tasted like it’s made offsite.

Wonderful staff - very helpful, menu has great food and the atmosphere is very cozy.

Had lunch here. Superb! There are only a handful of restaurants in Ireland that have this standard of food and service sadly. Go and enjoy the experience. And the wine...bravissimo!

Ristorante Rinuccini provided us with a delightful dining experience today. Despite arriving close to their 2:30 PM closing time, the staff graciously accommodated us. The setting was elegant and welcoming. The calamari starter was delicious, and the prawn dish was outstanding. We finished our meal with a tasty tiramisu. Overall, Ristorante Rinuccini offers excellent food and service. Highly recommended!

Great food, excellent service, evocative surroundings. We had an early dinner, in fact the Early Bird, which offered excellent value for very good food. The service was very efficient and reasonably friendly. The food was very well cooked and presented in an attractive manner. we enjoyed our visit and would have no hesitation about going back.

This is a really top end Italian restaurant, from the decor to the staff attire to the food and service, it was all uniformly excellent. Prices are not outlandish either when you are used to the rip off prices changed in and around Dublin for lesser dining experiences. Do yourself a favour and pay it a visit the next time you are in Kilkenny. We'll certainly be back.
