Ristorante Rinuccini in Kilkenny

Great food, service and atmosphere. Rinuccini’s is always our go to restaurant when I visit Kilkenny

We had an early bird there recently which was lovely but unfortunately the vegetables let it down..I had chicken supreme served with roman style peas which were just frozen defrosted peas..over the years I always got a bowl of seasonal vegetables in Rinnucinis.

A massive downgrade for a Michelin guide restaurant specifically in the kitchen, the restaurant use to be elegant with classic and delicious food very well presented, now is just another Poor and Boring Italian fast food restaurant.

The best ever. The atmosphere brings you straight to Italy, and the food and service are even better than many in Italy. We shared 3 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts between two people and could not get enough. The crostini and chocolate torta are standouts. The tiramisu and duck are fabulous too. Truly incredible quality of ingredients, deep flavor, and lovely service and ambience. Tens across the board, but especially for the appetizers. Do not skip dessert either!

An amazing authentic Italian restaurant.

If I could add a sixth star I would. Very Impressive Restaurant. Unbelievable Staff, Atmosphere and the Food was outstanding. Especially as I am a Coeliac. We planned on going to a couple of different Restaurants in the area on our break but after one ,night in Rinuccini's, we were hooked so we booked the second night there also. Exceptional. See you Guys again soon!! Thank you so much!

Great location, friendly staff, tasty food. Good price.

Service was beyond fault. Strong lack of vegetarian options particularly on the early bird menu. All that was available for starter (for veggies) was soup and salad and risotto for main. These dishes can be made comfortably at home (for me) so I would expect something different in a restaurant. The risotto was mushroom but had hazelnuts added and was a *very* large portion, which just didn't appeal to me. Lovely experience but would be so much better with more vegan/vegetarian choice. Also the value for vegetarians is not good when compared to the à la carte menu - I could only have soup and risotto so had no choice. Won't be back.

This is such a wonderful place to experience from the welcoming staff whose service was so attentive to the romantic ambience of the place especially downstairs to of course the delicious superb quality of food and choice of wines. We look forward to going back soon.

Food was a bit of a let down. For the price you expect the food to be above “average” but unfortunately it is a let down. All tomato sauces taste like just tomato purée there is no herbs or flavour. The portion sizes are unreasonable when the flavours are missing.. servers make this place to be something special but a major let down with the food. I would not go again and many people told me not go as it is just below the standard you expect. Also anyone with dietary restrictions would not find much to eat here.
