Riverside Cafe in Skibbereen

Food and coffee were delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a fantastic place for lunch . Absolutely stunning views in the cafe with a great selection of lunch offers and cakes that are gluten free. All of the soups and sauces are gluten free and they can do gluten free bread which is honestly one of the nicest gluten free bread Ive ever had. Really good value for money too

Staff were lovely and on arrival the place looks cozy. We sat by the back window but unfortunately couldn't see the river. Their back area definitely needs a proper clean up. The glass is extremely dirty and the garden overgrown. We couldn't even see the river. The coffee was lovely. The food is ok but not worth the price. It's more of a snack than a meal. We were hungry again shortly after. Such a pity as it has great potential to be something amazing.

I visit The Riverside regularly, and it never disappoints. The Fishcakes are divine, my absolute favourite. I do love the chicken noodle salad also, and they have great specials. Lovely coffee and a lovely view if the weather is good and you get to eat outside!

Went for lunch had their BLT on sourdough bread and have to say that the bread was very thick the BLT was very thin. The soup that accompanied was okay but all in all I wouldn't rate more than two or three stars

Can't understand any bad reviews. Went here twice on our 3 day visit to skibbereen. The food was wonderful. Best we had out of all the places we visited. Staff were also lovely. Definitely recommend here. The food is really good.
