Riverside Cafe in Skibbereen

A nice cafe, the menu looked good and the food was tasty. Sadly, the portions we had for lunch were really very small and we both left still feeling hungry. It was expensive and just didn’t feel like value for money, due to portion size.

What a find! We were recommended this place as it has vegetarian options. Our food was divine. I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo! We had platters with organic salad, sauerkraut, homemade hummus, baby roast potatoes, pickled beets, and in the centre a swirl of chickpea and sweet potato puree! Perfect amount of food, excellent attentive service but not intrusive. I can't wait to return to try their amazing desserts someday soon.
