Fabulous fine food and friendly people. What’s not to like? Had a turbot and scallops, great dessert apple pie.

Lovely restaurant pub in one of the nicest villages in Ireland. Cosy, warm atmosphere and excellent food. We appreciated their focus on local staples and the creative way to cook traditional dishes such as the beef pie (simply mouth-watering) and the salmon with its smoked hint and a gorgeous, creamy pea risotto. Staff is amazing, especially the beautiful Paola, who looked after us with kindness, lovely chats and a professional way to describe the menu and the specials of the day. I noticed her love and passion for her work and her sense of belonging to Ireland, which was really moving. We literally felt like home. Way to go, guys! Will be back soon.

My friend and I stopped in here on a whim as we road tripped through the Irish countryside. And LET ME TELL YOU - 10 out of 10 experience. It was voted #1 seafood restaurant for 2025. I had 1/2 dozen oysters (amazing) and the the asparagus and mushroom tarte. Hit the spot like the best lunch in the mouth. Also had the local craft beer - it’s from the nano brewery on site, you can’t get it anywhere else. As a beer connoisseur, one of the best lagers I’ve tried in a long time!! Plus the atmosphere is a quintessential pub, so gotta love that

Excellent food, cozy atmosphere

Went to the roadside last Saturday night with friend. The atmosphere was great , the food was delicious , I had the prawn pil pil it was the nicest I ever tasted. Five star. Couldn't fault the service, quick friendly and efficient . Highly recommend going here.

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the food was absolutely fantastic! We had the goat cheese croquettes and salad, as well as their wagyu beef hamburger and a big bowl of their wonderful handmade soup with Irish brown bread and butter. Our food was fantastic!

This place is a hidden gem in Lisdoonvarna. My husband, son and I had dinner on Saturday the 12th July. I had the butternut chicken, my son had the fish and chips and my husband opted for two fish starters. He said that it was the best chowder he has ever ate. The presentation of the food was unbelievable. Honestly, we have been to a lot of eating establishments here in Ireland and abroad and this place would certainly rank in the top five. The food was first class and the service was excellent. We must have been asked about four times during our meal if everything was okay or did we require anything else. The attention to detail by the Chef or Chefs obviously runs throughout the entire staff. We will be back...

Recently finished a motorcycle trip round some of the Wild Atlantic Way and this place was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. It was recommended by our hotel who booked us a table at very short notice which was very helpful as when we arrived the place was packed. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We tried one of the beers they make in their own microbrewery which was excellent. For starters my wife had the chowder and I had the prawns from the specials board. Both were excellent. We both had the steak and ale pie, with mash and my wife thought the gravy which came with the mash was amazing. The live music was very good (obviously depends whether you like traditional Irish music or not). What I particularly liked was that the music was at a volume where you could listen to it but still have a conversation. We were so impressed with the whole experience that we booked a table for the following night. This was a good choice as we were able to try the Halibut dish which was on the specials board. It was absolutely fantastic. Not quite Michelin star but not far off. The second night also gave us a chance to try one of the other beers they make as well as trying their own whiskey which is definitely worth a go. My only slight grumble is that the main menu includes a couple of choices of wine which we chose from on our first visit however when we went on the second night we were given a full wine list. If you're going ask for the full wine list as there are some very nice wines on there. A couple of points to note - Book a table and get in early as the specials board seems to run out very quick. Probably because the food on it is superb. Definitely try something from the specials board. This probably isn't the cheapest place you can go but it is value for money as the food is exceptionally high quality. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The staff were fantastic, especially Andrew and Bridie. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We're planning to do the west coast of Ireland next year again and will probably have to plan a route where we can stop here again.
