Roadside Tavern in Lisdoonvarna

I was so lucky to have the Roadside as my local pub for over three months: the staff is extraordinary and the place itself was my safe space after work! (The coziest Bar with the best and cutest Barman around: thank you Andrew for always having a pint and a good story ready for me) When I spoiled myself with one of Peters lovely meals, Bridie, Mayuko and Paola always made sure I had the best experience: they are kind and wonderful people and the service is fantastic! So if you have the chance to wine and dine in the roadside or to listen to a few tunes of a trad session with a good pint: do not hesitate! :)

The food here was great. The portions were very good also. It was my first time eating oysters and they were very nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing pub near the cliffs. We enjoyed some great pints of Guinness, and the beef chuck stew was the star of the meal!

Great lunch spot in Lisdoonvarna! Stopped by this place on the way back from the cliffs and it was a solid place for lunch. We ordered the seafood chowder and fish and chips. Both dishes were solid and the chowder had a good amount of seafood in it. The service staff was very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant atmosphere is really cozy. Would recommend to anyone passing by Lisdoonvarna!

This place is a hidden gem in Lisdoonvarna. My husband, son and I had dinner on Saturday the 12th July. I had the butternut chicken, my son had the fish and chips and my husband opted for two fish starters. He said that it was the best chowder he has ever ate. The presentation of the food was unbelievable. Honestly, we have been to a lot of eating establishments here in Ireland and abroad and this place would certainly rank in the top five. The food was first class and the service was excellent. We must have been asked about four times during our meal if everything was okay or did we require anything else. The attention to detail by the Chef or Chefs obviously runs throughout the entire staff. We will be back...

Lovely staff who were very attentive and super polite . Food was fresh hot and very good quality , I would not hesitate recommending this pub
