A lovely, cosy & friendly bar. It looks unassuming from the outside, but inside it's very warm, cosy and full of life. The selection of drinks was great, the bartender that was working was a joy, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!

Brilliant pub,long bar ,very large airy smoking area ,trad session every Wednesday night and live music at weekends it is a very busy bar, very clean, staff very friendly there is a real old feel to this bar well worth a visit

If you're in cork, I would recommend you go to Cobh and have a look around. Once you've worked up a thirst and fancy a bit of True Irish folk music, this is a great night out. The people and staff are brilliant 👏.

07/01/2025: Very nice Irish pub with his local decor, the band playing was such a success, we loved the atmosphere. The service was great and the fire wood perfect for the cold weather, it makes you feel cozy like home.

Ellens Kitchen

12/12/2024: We very much enjoyed our meal at Ellens! We arrived for a late breakfast and the service was great as well as the food. Ellen herself was working the kitchen and would periodically visit tables to ask how everything was. If I was a local, I'd eat here often.
17/11/2024: Love the breakfasts here. Big portions. The hot chocolates are unreal too.
