Ruibin in Galway

I loved this bar. The oysters were divine. I slurped them down and when one fell on the floor I still ate it! I can’t stop talking about this place to people on my outer circle. I would never recommend to friends and family though because I like to be on the “IN” and prefer for them to be on the “OUT”. This is a dynamic that works for all of us.

We went to Ruibin for a date night and had a great experience. We ordered a couple of "tapas" dishes and shared 5 betweent the two of us.

Fantastic place, we had a view over the harbour. As for the food - incredible. They have a good selection and both dishes (starter and main) were incredible. But the main thing was the staff, from the first second arriving to the minute you leave, they are incredible. As I'm from Galway, I can easily say I'd rate it in the top 5 places to try.

If you want to experince the just right balance between eastern and western cuisine, it is here at Ruibin. I have been dining here and there across the world ranging from London , New York, Hamburg, Paris, Bangkok, etc, but nothing can compare to the finest taste you have at Ruibin. I think the chef is acutally gifted with that delicacy in making sure all Irish/asian fusion perfect. We have shitake dumpling with sechuan sauce today. Its superb and tasty. The annual oyster snack at this time of year (international oyster festival) is something not to be missed. Steaks is perfect as well. You will not be disappointed and the food worth every penny spent here! All just perfect!

Do NOT expect potatoes in the chowder, only large chucks of fish. Side of bread is devine. If you do need potatoes, try the potatoes and ailoiiii. Delish!

Comida muy sabrosa y cócteles con un servicio amable y eficiente. El comedor está bien diseñado con vistas al puerto.
