If you like it loud, this is the place for you! It was a Friday afternoon. There were only about six men in the bar, but the volume of their conversation was unbelievable. The ambiance was a typical pub.

This is THE BEST pub in Kilkenny for live music and the people! I have been there EVERY time (6 times) I've been to Ireland in the last 2 1/2 years! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Randomly popped in and was welcomed like a local. Arthur was the perfect host and made a Canadian feel welcomed. Spoke with a new local John and he may have educated me enough to enjoy an extended time in Kilkenny
