Saltee Chipper in Kilmore quay

Brilliant chipper - great value for the battered haddock and a massive portions of chips for the price. The tartare and sweet chilli sauces were excellent. All that let it down was the value on the fresh scampi - a small portion for the price - and the onion rings which they openly admit aren't home made, but at €3.10 for 6 frozen onion rings, the portion just needs to be bigger. Nevertheless, will definitely be back for the fresh fish and chips.

It was just an awesome experience. I can't wait till I'm down that way again. Staff are so friendly and just an all-out brilliant experience.

All excellent except for the cold in the building, other than that quality all round. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. One fault. Onion rings were frozen not home made.

Tasty, fast, everything is simple. And you can enjoy the view nearby. The sea and the playground are very close. Casual, simple atmosphere. Maybe too simple. But for this place just right. You can make a pre-order, then everything works out really quickly. Tastier than most places around.

I don't care where you go for your fish and chips, you will not any better anywhere, beer battered fish, there's nothing better.

Sympathique endroit à Kilmore Quay, nous avons adoré les crevettes, le Fish n Chips et le coleslow. Personnel efficace et service super. C'est très bon et cela vaut la peine d'y faire un tour.
