Salthill Hotel in Galway

I love the salthill Hotel for my coffee after swim. As a Hotel it has something extra special.

Staff and food great. Alan in the bar is top marks. The bar manager, Shane is the best I have seen, lovely bloke. Room lovely and breakfast excellent . Can't wait to go back again in December.

Top class hotel and a great gym

We loved the Salthill Hotel for the location but wished we knew two things: great place for weddings and thin walls! While in Ireland, we decided to save by staying in air bnbs and hostels. That really helped our budget and bed met lovely folks along the way! As a treat, we broke our budget to stay at a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately, so did the loudest wedding and couple who lived next door. The nights were not great sleeping as we were awoken many times by partying. It is tough to report this because it was a great experience otherwise: food was excellent, service kind and efficient and the soft towels, sauna and pool were such a great after a long day of walking and touring. If we had known about the wedding which brings all night partying (Irish weddings are 2 days long!) that would have been helpful! Galway is a gem! We would go again. Maybe back to a small Air Bn B where we can get info straightforward.

Great hotel with two great restaurants. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Beach located across the street. Cassie and I will be back.

I have been to this hotel many times over the years. I really made use of the leisure facilities this time and enjoyed it immensely. We were upgraded to a sea view when we arrived which was nice. The food was great with a morning buffet and all you can eat. I will get back here again soon I hope.

The Salthill Hotel is a large seaside retreat located near Galway, offering across-the-street access to the beach and the vibrant The Prom boardwalk. With comfortable accommodations and a spacious breakfast dining area that can easily accommodate large tour groups, the hotel provides a convenient base for exploring the area. It's a leisurely 45-minute walk to the heart of Galway and a short 10-minute stroll to the Leisureland complex. Recommended!

Great 1 night stay here! Book direct for best price (included breakfast and parking). Walking distance to Salthill’s village pubs and restaurants. Staff very friendly, rooms and lobby well maintained. Would stay again if in the area!

Lovely food, pleasant staff and very helpful. Just an enjoyable place with a lovely view of Salthill and the wild Atlantic coast
