A well designed space, that is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Coastal views, good service and fresh food with a great breakfast range. We used this place daily to both sit in and take out during our four night stay in Salthill.

Located right on the Salthill promenade, sandy beach, the hotel has the perfect location. The leisure centre and swimming pools were the highlight of our stay, one of the best I've been to. the breakfast was lovely with wide selection of fruits and delicious food. The only negative I would mention were very thin walls I could even hear the next door guest snoring

I stayed in the Salthill hotel for one night with my partner. We had a lovely stay . The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in in a hotel with real luxurious feather pillows. The hotel decor was beautiful nice lobby and bar that was modern but in an old world style. It position on the seafront was great and within easy walking distance of the town. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and would certainly stay again.

Fabulous hotel, really helpful staff. The room was massive, with everything you might need. The leisure centre was spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed the two pools and hot tub. Located right across from the promenade, so you can enjoy a stroll by the sea and still only a ten minute spin in to the city centre.

Room was amazing and sea view was great (we had to pay 50 euros a night extra for that). Food in the bar was very bad and the gin tonics way too weak. Wine service was especially poor. Wellness does not deserve the name, it ia a sport and children’s pool wiith a tiny sauna in the corner. So definitely do not choose this hotel for that. Location is fantastic.

11/08/2025: Very good food with a good atmosphere but on the other hand the wait is not possible!! Waiting 40 minutes for 3 burgers and a salad is ok but not 20 minutes for a brownie. And the room was not full.
03/08/2025: This is a Galway Bay Brewery pub. For many years they were plentiful in Dublin however that’s changed in recent years so it’s nice to go to one of their original pubs in their home county. The disadvantage of been a craft beer drinker is that you’ve had everything on offer already before you drink in these places. The one beer I wanted to try is the tap in picture and unfortunately the barman said they only had one Keg of it & there was none left. I went for a brown ale in the end. I can’t comment on the food but I’ve had their food many times over the years in the late Against the Grain.
