Salthill Hotel in Galway

Right in front of Ladies Beach and near the iconic diving board. An excellent location, especially for exploring Galway city and it's hinterland. Comfortable room, clean bright and airy. Quality of food excellent but disappointed no grilled tomatoes for breakfast. Good long swimming pool and sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The adjoining quincentenial park is a gem. Would recommend it despite its current price per night.

Beautiful hotel overlooking Galway Bay, situated on the prom ,and just a stroll away from cafes and bars ,would highly recommend it ,

From the moment we walked into the hotel and met Eileen and marco they made us feel so welcome. The hotel is just fabulous the swimming pool is the nicest I’ve ever been in. The self service breakfast is fantastic they even have a proper coffee machine so you can have any type of coffee. One thing that stood out of us is that every member of staff was so nice, we stay in hotels 3/4 times a year and it’s very unusual to have friendly bar staff.

Great location and service. All wonderful I just missed this way of tap in my room as l couldn’t rinse a bath after my candle bath ☺️☺️

Great hotel, breakfast was great, swimming pool very clean, great nights sleep, overall lovely hotel. Receptionist Peggy was wonderful. The front office manager was arrogant, unhelpful and very unpleasant.

The 3-course meal we enjoyed was nothing short of exquisite. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor – a true culinary delight. The attentive and friendly service in the restaurant elevated the experience to something truly special. The hotel’s facilities were also impressive. The underground car park provided convenient and secure parking, which was a huge plus. Our room was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed – a perfect blend of comfort and style. We genuinely cannot say enough good things about the Salthill Hotel. Whether you're planning a trip to Galway or just passing through, this place is an absolute must-visit. Five stars simply don’t do it justice!
