Really enjoyed our stay in this authentic hotel. Young staff are so attentive and professional its hard to believe until you experience it. Food and pints of Guinness are 10/10. A tremendous 👏.. Will be back

The hotel is a former monastery which has been totally refurbished. Lovely, classy decor. Excellent five-star service. Food in the bar is excellent. I prefer the bar menu to what is on offer in the more expensive restaurant. The hotel hosts wine-tasting evenings which I would highly recommend. Charming, relaxing atmosphere. Slightly more expensive than other venues, but you get what you pay for. One of Drogheda's finest. Very well managed. Highly recommended.

4th time staying here, always fantastic food, especially the cauliflower wings. Rooms are always clean , smell nice and love that you get two bottles of water. A nice recent addition to offer complimentary coffee from the bar to be delivered to your room. Thank you for a good stay again, see you again soon

Scholars Townhouse Hotel is a lovely listed property. The staff are excellent, and the period decor is beautiful and elegant. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was powerful. It is also located within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, but situated just outside of the centre, so it is very quiet and peaceful.

Third time in space of 2 months to stay here and it doesn’t disappoint as always excellent rooms very helpful friendly staff and the best sea food chowder soup I have ever had. We brought two friends and they were overly impressed with the whole decor of the hotel. A must stay hotel if your visiting Drogheda 👍👍👍
