Small neighborhood pub where we saw a lot of locals dine in for lunch. Lovely community vibe with very friendly staff. Great choice for those who want an anti-tourist trap, authentic irish lunch spot. Great pints and the open beef sandwich was tasty with very soft meat.
We went there in July with a one-year-old baby who was eager to eat. The waitress was very kind, she heated up the food and came regularly to check that everything was okay. The dishes are generous, very good, and the fries are really very good.
Delicious reasonably priced pub fare, free cordial with lunches, extremely fast service, hot fresh meals. This was one of the best pub meals we had in Ireland
Just had lunch there best value for money in Ireland in a long. 12 euro main course fresh cod with chips and salad wife had lasagna. Very tasty nearly all locals having lunch staff knew everyone by name made very welcome highly recommend very quick and efficient.damien
