Shipmates in Ardmore

Came here from Cork a few weeks back, just wanted some hot chocolates. Decided to get some curry chips to share. Wow. Massive portion, tasted homemade, garnished with spring onion and red chillies… decided we’d come back for a proper meal. What can I say. Ordered spice box and taco chips (which sounds like something you’d get from a bog standard takeaway) among other things, and - again- wow. Stunning food. Fresh. Proper ingredients. Nothing processed. Made to order. And did I mention portion sizes? Homely feel to the place. Thank you so much. We will be back 🙌🏻

Small and warm. Not great Coffee.

Food was ok wasn't the nicest and I felt a little expensive for breaded fish and chips. Service was excellent and fast .

We sat outside and had our takeaway dinner. We really enjoyed it, and Moat definitely was value for money.

Food was good but very expensive

Expensive enough for what ur getting. Burger was pretty burnt and some of the chips were raw maybe it was an off day

The atmosphere was very nice very sea themed and bright. The food looked very nice and fresh but could of done with a bit more flavour.

I had a lovely lunch here yesterday the 10th of July served by a lovely waitress who was chatty and polite (and a cork women 🔴⚪️), the food was fresh and fast, the menu was very versatile with many options on it ranging from a full Irish to a goujon wrap. The coffees made from so waitress were top notch, it’s great to see good staff with experience who know the menu well and can manage the restaurant well, will be returning again 100% and I look forward to trying the dinner menu !
