Simon Lambert & Sons in Wexford

2 years later from orig Visited again today and absolutely superb. 👌 brought my mum who LOVED it and is already planning lunch with her friends. Well done. We had the Hake special. Zero alcohol mc Ivor cider (delish) & hot raspberry scone! Orig Yum! Went here for Lunch a few weeks ago with my Sister who had recommended it having had breakfast there. I had the most delicious pulled pork sandwich with an amazing apple based sauce on . The hostess was lovely and so welcoming plus I just love the chilled out vibe and decor. Going back today!

When I saw they did BBQ we had already planned on coming, but the fact our local guesthouse owner also recommended them sealed the deal. Really cosy pub, early Saturday night, and got the last free table. The staff were lovely and fast. The food is just next-level. There is something primal about smoky charred meat on a bone. I loved it and will come again.

We are here for the Opera Festival and Simon’s is the place to go after the evening performances. It’s clearly where all the cast and crew go afterwards which makes for a great atmosphere. And btw the beer choice is astonishing. Love the Vocation and Iron Bru options!

Loved this cosy place and the food was wonderful. Servers work as a team and on a busy evening we barely waited for dinner. I would have liked another Guinness but too busy to check I suppose. We will be back!

You can book a table as it gets very busy. Eat or just have a drink. Food is great.

Called in for an evening meal, with my 2 daughters, however got completely sidetracked from the food menu by the drinks menu!! An impressive selection of 'craft' beers, so difficult to make a decision even a good selection of soft drinks, not the usual coke or lemonade, for designated driver. Drinks finally sorted and on to the food, this isn't a huge menu, but what we ordered - burger, brisket, and ribs were all superb, beautifully presented with dips, gorgeous onion rings, tasty chips. Fantastic place, lovely evening, did I mention the drinks?!!

Had the brisket burger, my wife had the ribs. Everything was amazing, the brisket was moist and flavorful, absolutely terrific

We stopped in for breakfast and loved everything. Menu is great and service was lovely. Would definitely return here.

Well Simons has changed a number of times since I was a lad in Wexford but this version is very nice. Very good service, nice selection of beer but no yellowbelly which was a shame. BBQ style food was good quality and perfect for catching up with family
