This is a lovely pub. We visited here for breakfast and it was delicious. It is beautifully decorated and the old theatre display they have us really interesting.

We love going here on Thursdays for breakfast- the staff are lovely and the veggie breakfast is different and delicious. Their brown bread (untoasted) is the nicest I've ever tasted!

We really enjoyed a quite atmosphere in this beautiful pub. The lunch was great, and the local beer the yellow belly was wonderful. Sadhbh locked after us and she's been lovely. Really nice place where to enjoy a meal!

Brilliant meal and atmosphere. Staff were lovely and did an excellent job. The food was extremely tasty and well priced for its taste! Not only that but the portions were huge. Had a really good time here - the atmosphere made it perfect. Will definitely be returning time and time again.

We just stumbled upon this pub and it was the best decision ever! The food was amazing, and the staff were super friendly. We only waited about 5 minutes for a table, but they gave us drinks right away and we were seated before we knew it. I'd totally recommend this place over and over again!

02/06/2026: The falafel burger is really nice, chips are just the right ratio of crunch to chomp, onion rings were nice BUT were a lil bit skinny inside da batter but that’s ok I still ate them all no bother, overall seriously nice place, can’t wait to bring my pals here
20/05/2026: I just recently tried this place and am sorry I waited so long. Their burgers are delicious but I also enjoyed the falafel sandwich.

30/06/2026: Another delicious meal at the Whitford, family occasion, just 4 of us, we didn't book but luckily got a table, late Saturday afternoon, there were a number of large groups doing likewise so the staff were very busy but friendly and efficient as always. The sticky toffee pudding and the strawberry daiquiri were top notch, sadly no featherblade steak on the menu this time but enjoyed the double burger, my husband was very happy with his monkfish scampi, the others got sizzling prawns and blackened salmon, all very tasty and good size portions as always. Looking forward to our next visit.
20/06/2026: Fabulous place! So friendly and attentive, good vibe and food amazing!
