Food , wine ,staff , and scenery - All amazing- felt really welcome here .Staff so friendly . Prawns and chowder were excellent. Can’t fault it . Loved the dining domes outside too - will definitely be back .

We stayed at the Smugglers Inn, a charming seaside hotel in Waterville, Ireland, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff is welcoming and attentive, which contributes greatly to the warm atmosphere of the place. The rooms are functional, clean, and comfortable, ideal for relaxing after a day of driving. As bikers, we also really appreciated the convenient and easily accessible parking. The gourmet restaurant offers a small, refined menu, showcasing quality products, carefully prepared. A truly beautiful restaurant! It should be noted, however, that the prices are a little high, which may put some budgets off, even if the quality is excellent. The establishment also offers a wellness area with a jacuzzi and sauna, accessible for €16 per hour per person. The place is pleasantly located, but it is not a private space, which can be a bit of a shame depending on your expectations. We came for dinner and was at first a little hesitant at first glance of the menu (especially with my shellfish allergy) but boy were we pleasantly surprised! They accommodated us with a smile and we had a starter of olive tamponade, breads, and dips they put together, then my partner had the black sole special and I the monkfish (they swapped the shellfish sauce for a tomato based one). It was exceptional! Best monkfish I've ever had, the flavour and presentation was just amazing. We were smiling and sharing bites the whole time. Dessert we had the coconut cheesecake and honey and cardamom Pana cotta and it was the perfect end. Would highly recommend for a date night.

Always an excellent place to visit

Well, what can I say.. 100% five star in every aspect. Do not eat anywhere else if you are in the area. This is the place. You won't ever meet any nicer people, just awesome.

Outstanding food and service. Just what we needed.

Great place to stay if you're doing the Ring of Kerry. Stunning views of the ocean. Our room was a little small but it's comfortable and clean. The spa is worth trying. Breakfast was included and delicious. They even offer packed lunches and soup for a small price. Dinner was really good and well worth the price. Everyone was really hospitable and friendly with a range of wonderful personalities.

Attended the sauna area on the weekend of February 3rd 2025, we were greeted by the really friendly owner who allowed us to access the area ahead of our appointment time, it was fantastic, lovely changing and relaxing area with such great views, the hot tub, sauna and ice bath were all included in the cost which was really reasonable. Really enjoyed our time here.
