We were a group of 3 and had an amazing dinner! One of our party was late and the staff were nothing but accommodating. The food was amazing as was service.

A great dinner experience. The deep room is cosy and lively in the evenings and the all-female serving staff are warm and professional. Standout dishes were toasted sourdough with confit tomatoes (a great take on the usual ‘pan con tomat’) and sardine on cracker (a very sophisticated dish which would not be out of place in a fine-dining restaurant). All food was excellent, showcasing Irish ingredients and very good cooking skills.

The Irish restaurant scene continued to surprise us. Solas is a pearl in Dingle with really tasty and surprising dishes. The tapas style eating is our favourite and Solas delivers on a level that meets some of the best beach restaurants in Marbella. Loved the flavour combinations, presentation and cozy atmosphere. Go there if you are looking for something different and you will enjoy, promise.

My wife and I had made an early dinner reservation for our 1 night in Dingle, based on the very positive reviews. Happy that we did. The tapas were all creative and wonderful. If ever in Dingle again, we’ll be back.

This was one of the best dining experiences I have had. Highly recommend Solas in Dingle. The food was so fresh and tasty. Every mouthful was an experience. Great wine to accompany the meal also.

17/07/2025: This is a take-away--and do stop in for take-away. The staff there is friendly, informative, sweet and funny. There were many choices for the fish--haddock and hake, yes. And several more--I had the monk fish. Oh, so delicious. The chips are crispy on the outside, soft and luscious inside. I'm a vinegar and salt lover, so that was my choice. There are picnic tables and walls to sit on at the harbor. Some pubs will allow the food if you order a drink. I sat by the water--and watched the boats and enjoyed the beauty and devoured this delicious late lunch.
03/07/2025: Unbelievable fish and chips, fish was fresh from the boat that same morning. Cod is 10/10 and the chicken goujons are real chicken in the best batter I’ve ever tasted! Excellent service! Can’t wait to go back!!

05/07/2025: We went here after google recommended here for the best fish and chips in Dingle. A family of 5 and one of us eating a child's portion. We didn't have drinks or starters or dessert. It was just shy of 100 euro plus the tip. My curry portion was small for the price. I expected better. Also my husbands meal the scampi was over cooked. The place was very cramped as people were queuing to get in from the street. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals. The food looked amazing but for the price we were very disappointed and will choose somewhere else next time.
04/07/2025: Gem of a find! Food was really great with a slight twist from your regular ‘fish and chips’. About a 40min wait but they kindly took our number and phoned when ready for us. Service was very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend
