Popped into a couple of places in clifden and staff were all rude , couldn’t believe it … then I came across this gem …. Staff were gorgeous cakes all homemade real nostalgic and the coffee is excellent ❤️❤️ avoid the other places and go to steam

I really loved it here! The staff was super friendly and we chilled in here for a while. The cafe offers a great view on the market square. Everything we got was delicious, I would really recommend the Strawberry Meringue roulade!!!

03/06/2025: Had a couple of pints, played pool. Craic with the locals, great banter. All the other tourist pubs can go .... themselves. This pub was class.
30/05/2025: Great value for money. Lovely host and cosy bar. There's a pool table too! Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Good location too in this quaint little town!
