A lovely cafe with lots of what's bad for you to tempt you ... Very hard to resist cakes and buns. They all look delicious. The prices they charge are well above average, unfortunately. They are a full euro more than almost anywhere else for a medium coffee. Their pricing puts me off. I'll be sticking with Costa or O'Briens in future. Lovely bright airy coffee shop though. 😌

Best thing is the opening hours. Great for evening beverage. Plenty of seating and parking. Coffee was nice. The harsh overhead lighting though made it feel very uninviting. The cold colour bulbs made it feel more like a fast food takeaway than a cosy cafe. Some tweaks would improve.

06/09/2026: The restaurant is in a beautiful location in blackrock observatory on the cork harbour. It is a 15min taxi which is between 15 to 25 euro each way. The staff are wonderful very friendly and accommodating. Getting the steak and lamb cooked a little more to my dad's and aunt's liking. The food is amazing. We all got different starters, mains and desserts and everything down to the sides that accompany them were well taught out. The restaurant was quiet busy but the atmosphere and service were 5 star the whole night long. We will definitely be going again for another special night out.
