Street Treats in Killarney

Fish( very small) and chips with mushy(dry powdery) peas at 21 euro were a bit of a let down. Fish was a bit small. This pint is just wrong. Hoping was just a bad day and Standards have not slipped here.

What can I say! The food was delicious — and I come from the city of gastronomy. The oysters were fresh, the kidneys perfectly seasoned, the green beans al dente and full of flavour, the broccoli with its miso mayo was excellent, and the peas had a taste I’ve never experienced before. And it was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in Dublin. By sheer luck, we happened to get a booth of our own — the setting was ideal and peaceful, and the service was excellent. Great food and staff are ready nice and their best to accommodate us. The food was really good. The salad was so nice and fresh.

We called into the restaurant yesterday and had a genuinely lovely experience. The service stood out straight away — prompt, efficient, and personable. We opted for the special, the Chateaubriand (€70 for two to share), which came with two sides and four sauces. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked. For dessert, we shared a Baked Alaska, which was just excellent. The food was great, but what truly made the evening was the service. The two young ladies looking after us were an absolute credit to the place — so friendly and welcoming. That warm Irish hospitality in Ireland is something we’re known for, and sadly, it’s becoming harder to find in the industry. It was so refreshing to see it alive and well here. We'll be back.

Beautiful spot just outside the phoenix park. Come here often with my dad, and we always get oysters to start which are prepared infront of you in the bar downstairs. Always get an amazing fx buckley steak, and whatever is on special that day. Great spot

Friendly and fast service, the fish soup is super good with some shellfish.

Most amazing food👌you will not be disappointed. Lovely menu, food was fabulous especially the chicken supreme with asparagus and bacon cream 👌. Lady serving us was also so lovely and friendly 🙏. Five stars all the way... Wish I lived near this place! 👌🙏💕

Good traditional pub. Great service

Esta fue nuestra primera experiencia de pub en Dublín (Irlanda en general). Estábamos allí para cenar y no había música ni televisión (que me di cuenta). Era justo para nosotros, ya que habíamos llegado ese día de un vuelo de ojos rojos de 9 horas y estábamos terminando después de dos tours. Ubicación: Justo al norte del río Liffey frente a la estación Heuston. Más lejos del centro de la ciudad, por lo que no está lleno. Estábamos alojados en The Ashling Hotel una cuadra más y vimos esto recomendado en Reddit para un pub cercano. Atmósfera: Acogedor, tradicional (lo que sea que eso signifique) Servicio: Excelente! Una agradable introducción acogedora para nuestra visita a Dublín. Sean era genial y tuvimos una buena charla. Nos vigilaba a menudo, pero no con demasiada frecuencia. Alimentos: Las patatas fritas de ternera estaban sabrosas (y nuestras primeras patatas en nuestro viaje). Ambos teníamos la comida que era sabrosa. Y el brócoli era un buen ácido saludable y sabroso.

Drew y el equipo son increíbles, entre el personal del bar de abajo y el irreal Guinness y el bistec vino y cócteles de arriba no puedo recomendar más!
