Sullivan's Taproom in Kilkenny

I’ve seen this featured in the show Ireland county by county. We went Monday night and there’s a live music and I guess it’s only until 8pm. The falling apple cider is good not sour not sweet! It’s perfect! We had chicken wings only coz we just had dinner. Honey glazed and bbq is a great combo!

We were there for the craft beers. There is a tasting tablet with three different beers. The whole thing is set up quite funny: at the front is the shop with wines and whiskeys, then there is the merchandising, behind it is the pub and then the covered beer garden with separate places for smokers!!!!

Kilkenny's Beer Festival and we were in town. What a happy coincidence! Super nice crew, great ambience and tasty food. Pizzas were great 👌🍕 And the craft beer was delicious! Lots of options 🍻🍻 Totally recommend! Family friendly and cute beer garden

I accidentally knocked over a glass while tasting the beer and had to refill it for free

Now this is the second time around that the place wasn’t full or busy and the pizza wasn’t properly cooked. The dough was floppy and it could have been left at least another 3 minutes in the oven. Def don’t come here and expect a good bar pizza.

Sullivan's tap room is without a doubt one of Kilkenny's best hidden gems, situated just off John street. This local business offers a wide range of crafted ales along with some beautiful food I definitely recommend trying the pizza and wings!! Offering onsite accommodation also. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure your visit is one to remember, Megan the manager was very helpful in suggesting other local businesses to and landmarks to visit. I'll definitely be back again REGARDS, The happy customer 😎

Went twice in the space of 3 weeks. First time with a group of friends. Food took ages to come and all I had ordered was chips and the chicken ceaser salad. No croutons, parmasan or dressing jus lettuce 3 prices of bacon and the chicken. It had taken so long to come I just wasn't bothered rectifying it and it was so busy the chips were lovely. Second time to arrive was with my husband and child. I ordered the food all at once at the counter but it all came separately a nice few minutes apart and we were nearly finished by the time the wings and my husbands chips arrived. I had ordered the hot wings but the ones given to me were honey, again due to how busy it was and the initial waiting time I knew it would take too long to wait for it to be sorted. I think the flow of food needs to be sorted. The order on the receipt really should all come at once. Perhaps one in charge of counter orders and another for the app order Food was OK I had the burger with the wings but the pizzas do look yummy and my husband and child were happy with theirs, apart from the wait. My husband got his chips when he was nearly done the pizza The atmosphere is very good and I like that it is dog friendly, it is a really nice place and if you are in no rush then it's a nice spot for a beer and pizza.
