Everything is average, but unfortunately in Galway these places seem better to us. We are not fans of fast food, but if you need to hurry, they will often help you. And we really like their different types of ice cream.

Connemara Lake Hotel

24/05/2025: Went down for a communion dinner. Set menu but with good choices. Chicken wings were excellent and fried hake was meaty perfectly cooked. Staff were very friendly. Impressed.

29/04/2025: Went in here for a meal after the Connemarathon. The staff were so welcoming. We went in when the place was empty and they were delighted to have us. Really good food, nice drinks and a great coffee to take for the road. A credit to all involved.

08/06/2025: We visited here while fishing in May and had a few pints while sitting outside an excellent pub and great Guinness we will be back.
