Great place to stop for lunch if you are out in the Clifton area! Try the Crab sandwich, it is amazing! Staff was friendly and the views of the beach area at low tide are amazing.

I called into this lovely pub and was surprised to see Tennants was available. I only had time for 1 pint , it was the best pint of Tennants I ever had without doubt. To make matters better it was a very reasonable €5. The barman was polite and fair play to him for pulling a great pint. I will call again and make sure I have more time to enjoy a few pints in a lovely pub . The views of the water outside are unique. A hidden Gem .

I have been coming to connamera for the past 20 years ,the pub is Lovely place overlooking the beautiful omey island I had the crab meat and chowder lovely food and reasonably priced.staff were friendly as always . Great point of Guinness. Out of season menu not available but chowder and sandwiches tea and coffee are.

Doonmore Hotel Restaurant

10/06/2025: First class service, first class dining in one of the most beautiful settings in Europe. Andrew and Donna and their team make you feel like part of the family. After 10 days traveling around Ireland the Doonmore was by far our favorite and most unique experience. My only disappointment was in only staying one night. The island requires at least two nights to fully embrace the island life and to properly explore the island’s limitless natural beauty.
08/05/2025: We had a really wonderful time in Murray's Doonmore. We felt really looked after and 4 of us fit nicely in a family room with a cot. The food was delicious with a good kids menu too and the spaces are all so thought out and cosy. We will be back!

01/06/2025: A well run establishment premises are lovely and full of interesting history artifacts staff very friendly and seem to be very good with children food was beautiful and the fish qouted by my husband "was the best fish he has had all year ' and he eats fish every where he goes so that is a major compliment and the menu was reasonably priced well done to all the staff and we wish you a lifetime of sucsefull in businesses and we look forward to returning soon.
