We have been here numerous times over summer months, the best open crab on brown bread with a tasty pomegranate side salad with a creamy glass of Guinness, overlooking Omey Island. Enjoy lunch and a walk afterwards on the beach at low tide.

There are certain things, that on their own make a bar special, the food, a great pint of Guinness(always gets a thumbs up!), an amazing view and off course the people you meet and work there. It’s very rare to come across all off the above in the one place, but here you have it all, so much so, we found ourselves landing back here daily, for either lunch or dinner.
Literally the best pint of Guinness in the West, their open crab fish sandwich, I have never tasted fresher, and sure why wouldn’t it be, the bar with outside seating has the most spectacular view over to Omey Island, fresh catch daily. And did I mention the view!
And now the staff, and the people, I’ve never felt such a home away from home, I wish I got more people’s names, but Malachy and staff, the wonderful day staff, thank you, you made our week very special, your hospitality goes above and beyond. And how welcome you made us with our dog(An Amstaff, so a listed breed) I have never been made feel more welcome, anywhere in Ireland.
And Mark, stay safe on the water fishing, keep eating those lamb chops! An absolute gent, and what a character! We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
Lorraine, Paul and off course, our dog Shelley.

It's a stunning location with creamy pints of Guinness and the crab sambo is mouth watering, staff are super friendly, decor leaves a bit to be desired, but you'll be outside if it's any way sunny, amazing view.
