In todays changing world it is so nice to find a constant. This family run pub / shop / restaurant is my constant. Been coming here over 50 years. Locals and tourists alike flock to this precious jewel. Nestled in Claddaghduff with stunning view of Omey strand, it is the heartbeat of Claddaghduff. Food is as it should be, no frills, fresh local produce and great value & amazing taste and flavours. Service is 5 star, with " are ya alight , do u need anything else" said with a geniune smile that warms my heart. I have seen 3 generations of the Sweeney family here and each one making it their own and adding their own sparkle to the establishment. Yet keeping its decor and ambience the same. Open crab sandwich on delicious homemade brown bread will be hard to beat anywhere in the country. So if you are looking to recharge and unwind this is the ideal spot.
