Excellent, excellent pub with great live music. Fantastic staff. I left my bag there on an enjoyable weekend and the staff worked around the clock to get it to me in the UK. Much love.

The bar aggressively smells of fish it took away greatly from my enjoyment. The staff were great and I have no other complaints.

For decades, Taaffes has been a staple of the Galway bar scene. Perfect pours of Guinness, traditional Irish music sessions that are lively and engaging, and the most attentive, accommodating and affable bar staff in the city. Do yourself a favor and pop in for a pint. You’ll be grateful you did, lad.

Great ambiance in this classic pub. The seafood chowder was a big bowl for not much money and pretty tasty. The soda bread on the side was excellent.
