Taaffes in Galway

Trad music - less crowded than some of the other bars in Galway.

Had lunch here which was yum and the portions were bigger than I expected. Can recommend the Latin quarter melt (not pictured) which was delish. We returned later in the day for some live music which was great. It is a small space so was very busy, but we had a drink at the bar while enjoying the traditional music. Much better experience than the other pub we tried down the road.

We pop in on our arrival in Galway...really friendly staf, nice ambient and good prices. We returned in the evening with live music. We really enjoyed our time there...recomend

Loved it! 100% what you expect from an Irish Pub. Beautiful Irish lasses serving delicious drink and food and a stocky old, witty Irishman behind the bar pouring the Guiness and, my preference, Murphy's Stout.

A true Irish pub with live, improvised, and wonderful music. Delicious Guinness. A must-visit.

Here in town on vacation 🥳 A bartender at another bar suggested this place for good live music so we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed at all! The staff were all very nice and did a great job! The fact that so many of them are easy on the eyes was simply a bonus LOL! Just this girl's opinion anyway!😁 Go check it out!

The experience in Taffes is wonderful and relaxing, so suitable for all ages as the compartments allow for families and friends..The food is super too , but the Irish Coffee is a sweet delight. Go and enjoy it all

This historic pub hosts crazy trad music sessions every night, making it the perfect place to enjoy good beer while partying. The Friday night I visited, there was a band playing Irish folk, reinterpreting classics with incredible style. Highly recommended!

Traditional Irish pub, great atmosphere with live music.

The best spot in Galway! Wow! Amazing music, bartenders and the people there were amazing! We will be back when we visit again! Connor was the best!
