Went in January after a football match, there's a local feel to it. Kind of like a family pub, pretty small but beautiful and super friendly. Loved itā€”also if you're a GAA fan there's lots of pictures of the Galway team

Food service stops at 5pm. After that, it's two types of Tayto only. šŸ˜… The music is great, and the servers are nice, and the prices are quite high but that may be standard for the area. Their trad music sessions are at 5:30 and 9pm every day, which I wish I'd been able to find online somewhere earlier. The musicians are excellent but the crowd (on a Monday) was loud and seemed to be listening much, so maybe get a seat near the front of the bar if you want to hear well.

12/02/2026: Top restaurant experience in Galway. Fabulous food and perfect staff attention. It cost more than your average Galway restaurant but you do get what you pay for. It's down a little lane at the bottom of Shop street.

01/01/2026: The food, mood, service, and everything else you'd expect for a fine dining establishment was there. But nothing blew my socks off and it was a bit on the pricey side. The most noticeable thing for me was the service because everyone was so friendly and accommodating for me as I brought my 6 and 8 year kids to dinner. The chef spent a few minutes at each able to chat with the guests too. This is a great thing but also maybe not so great if it is more memorable than the food.
24/11/2025: Amazing expierence. Highly recomend.
