Had the best time hanging out there listening to areas session. Fun vibe with both locals and tourists. Locals were super friendly and made us feel welcome. Music was amazing!

This was a real young student vibe. With great traditional music, but too busy for a quiet drink. Admittedly we were a bit old fir the bar, but we just walked in after we'd had dinner.

Great night in Taafes on a Tuesday night in March but it felt line a summer night in July. Galway town centre was buzzing with atmosphere and Taafes was vibrant and fun. Great staff and live music later on.

05/04/2025: This is an awsome place. Friendly and helpful staff. Food is imaginative and fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a new twist on traditional plates well imagined and expertly executed. Try the apple pork and the coconut blood orange cake.
30/03/2025: To me the best lunch spot in Galway. Excellent food and value. I've never left disappointed . This time I tried the pork and gnocchi followed by the tiramisu, all excellent. Just a great relaxed place to enjoy good food.
