Fabulous afternoon here with live music 🎶

Came in for a few pints and some live music on a Weds evening. The duo performing was excellent mixing some classic Irish folk songs with covers of some contemporary music. Pints were cold and served quickly.

Stopped here after one of our tour guides mentioned it and we had seen it listed online as a place to visit in Galway. It was definitely a very cool experience with live traditional music and the atmosphere of a full Irish pub. ​ The location is right on Shop Street in the middle of it all, and it always seemed to have a crowd anytime we passed by. I'd recommend arriving well before the live music performances if you want to secure a seat. While the drinks can be a bit more expensive here, you are really paying for the overall experience.

A well-poured Guinness — definitely worth stopping by to quench your thirst. Highly recommend.

Great craic, my favorite bar in Galway, all ages but younger side crowd for the 9:30 music session. Affordable beers as well, and woman friendly.
