We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Taafes! The food was delicious (especially the seafood chowder), atmosphere was great and we had the best Server ever! I would highly recommend.

Nice pub with fair prices, good live music, clean toilets and outdoor area with heat lamps. It got very busy in the evening, we were there during the week and it was mainly younger clientele (18-26)

I always try to hit the 5:30 session in Taaffes whenever I am in Galway. Open session with fantastic musicians. Great spot!

We stopped in for a drink and live music. This was a very cool bar. It was pretty crowded but the bar was staffed appropriately. The music was awesome! The beer was nice and cold. We did not eat. I would recommend this bar just on the live music alone.

Meal from noon to 3 p.m.... Good food, great salad to change from fries 😂, multiple bap and invigorating soup of the day. Fast service, pub atmosphere. Very convenient in the heart of the shopping streets of central Galway. Good address.

Handsome Burger

11/05/2025: We ordered a traditional burger and a vegan one. They were well prepared. The fries were crispy. Also a beer. A little expensive for the size of the burgers
10/05/2025: Service was outstanding. The manager greeted us with a great smile and the staff were so attentive and great. Don’t get me started on the amazing food!
