Great bar with a friendly atmosphere

Relaxed afternoon pints. Lots of people coming in for a quick pint and a bit of food in the afternoon . Pint of Guinness was 5.90.

Great place for a pint and fabulous atmosphere and a great pint of Guinness

Wanted to give a shout out to Jane and Brendan at Taaffes, who took excellent care of my friend and I. We were on a day visit from Dublin and Taaffes came recommended to us. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed our meals- especially the seafood chowder, pints, and most of all incredible service by Jane and Brendan ! Absolutely recommend stopping by for a lovely experience.

Great pub for a pint and some local music. We had a great time here. The music was spectacular and very traditional 👌.

This has to be the best value in Galway for coffee and scone , euro 5-65 for large cappuccino and scone with butter jam and cream,served by friendly staff ,(scone not as good as my better half) hence the 4stars.

Soup and sambo top notch and pints 5 🌟

Great ambiance in this classic pub. The seafood chowder was a big bowl for not much money and pretty tasty. The soda bread on the side was excellent.

It was a solid experience overall. A very well poured pint of Guinness, live music, and good energy. Establishment can be a bit cramped
