Temple Gate Hotel in Ennis

From the initial booking to the moment we left, the service here was top drawer. The staff in every position were brilliant, the room spotless and the food perfect. Location is excellent too.

Nice Hotel in the centre of Ennis, The room was good only the central heating was on too high and i couldn't find a way to turn it down. There was good security to get to the rooms and the maid was very friendly. The public areas were beautiful, a nice bar and restaurant. We enjoyed a nice breakfast again the service was friendly. As an upgrade management may want to consider a Nespresso machine in the rooms with complimentary capsules which most Hotels of this calibre see to provide these days.

A fabulous hotel, the staff are the best I've ever encountered..exceptional nothing was a problem. We got upgraded and what a surprise. We were attending the 80s icon band in Glor theatre ..we stayed 2 nights, great location near everything its just 5 minutes walk to theatre, town etc The food is really nice too great variety, thank you We look forward to our next visit

Overpriced rooms and breakfast. Room needs to be updated and very warm . Requested a fan receptionist very helpful. Fan plug wouldn't fit as plugs were dated too. Got me an extension lead so everything on locker had to be moved to floor including bed side lamp . Breakfast had no buffet so after waiting a long time for it to be served there was very little on plate. Definitely won't be back . Only positive thing about our stay was staff were very friendly

My mam and I stayed for one night. We had an enjoyable stay. Check in was easy. The lady at the counter was friendly. We parked in the hotel car park and received a token to exit whenever needed. We enjoyed breakfast, however service was a little slow. We received all we ordered in time. Overall, a pleasant stay but a little expensive.

I'd whole-heartedly recommend the Temple Gate Hotel in Ennis. The service was out of this world, which the hotel clearly prides itself on. The staff are the absolute best and I'll miss their company. The food (dinner and breakfast) was really delicious with a great selection on the menu of everything you'd hope to see. The room was spotless and the bed and bedding sooooo comfy. A great shower too. The hotel is in a unique, listed building that has an incredible vibe, and tons of character - combining the historical with the modern very elegantly - a sight to see in itself. To top it all off, the hotel is in a fab location within the town, which is a rare gem of a place, full of amazing boutique shops and independents within easy walking distance. There's great sights to see within a short drive too, including the Cliffs of Moher.
