The Talbot Hotel is perfectly centrally situated in Belmullet, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. The staff are friendly, and the overall ambiance is relaxed and welcoming.

Great place, great food, great service

Wow. The Talbot is terrific, but the staff are absolutely amazing. Rooms are large, bed soft and comfy and, crazy as it sounds, A/C was necessary and effective. The hotel is really special. However, from the minute we walked in the door we felt special. There was no insincere hospitality. This was rich, friendly welcome. At reception, at dinner and in the morning when I wanted to watch an international rugby match, they made it happen. This was personal friendliness at another level. We are sad our stay in Belmullet was only 1 night. The Talbot has been a r3al highlight. .

Nice place to eat! Fish was very good and the desert excellent. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere. Minus: You get few veggies with your meal. Plus: Vegan eaters have something to choose from the menu.

We had an exceptional stay at The Talbot Hotel in Belmullet. The room was absolutely lovely – stylish, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was well thought out, and it really felt like a home away from home. A huge thank you to Doireann, who went above and beyond to organise our Sea Safari. She was warm, professional, and so helpful – nothing was too much trouble, and her kindness really added to our experience. The entire hotel had a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, and all the staff we met were friendly and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend The Talbot – we’ll definitely be back!

The hotel was very nice and the food and drink very good .The staff very nice. There was plenty of hiking and beechs to keep me well entertained. My only issue was something the parking was hard to find especially when it got busy as them parking spaces can fill up quickly.
