Great hotel, lovely staff and they won’t rob you on the price, very fair, rooms are massive and modern

We stayed here last weekend for 2nights & had a lovely time. The food was delicious, the staff welcoming, the hotel is spotless & beautifully decorated & we loved the wooden flooring in the rooms. The breakfast room was magical also. One minor point - we would have liked a change of towels & bathroom floor mat for the second night however as the shower door was leaking slightly so the bathroom floor mat was soaked. Room 5.

Nice setting. The BBQ Wings are very good and very plentiful, The Cajun chiken wrap excellent. The classic acceptable club sandwich, nothing more. The soup too salty for our taste

This hotel, the staff, the food and atmosphere are exactly what my mind needed. The food is tasty and nothing arrives burnt, the pints are fresh and cold, not to mention about all staff that simply won’t let you be in a bad mood. Happy to be here with work one week before Christmas holidays. I wasn’t expecting relaxation during tense times with my deadlines. You can get dinner around 20€ or even cheaper and you won’t regret any cent! I arrived here after a nightmare hotel in Ennis where I almost snapped staying there for 2 weeks. I hope all staff is getting a nice Christmas bonus for their professionalism.

I recently stayed in the Talbot Hotel with a group of friends. We had a wonderful time from start to finish. The hotel is welcoming and has a luxurious feel about it and in a great location in the centre of town. Good value. The food is delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay in The Talbot.

Lovely spot and great atmosphere. We arrived and were able to get a table (2 adults and 2 kids) without much of a problem even though it appeared slightly busy when we got there. There was a mix up with starters/mains as they were brought out together (after a bit of a delay) but rather than sending anything back we just took everything at that stage. Couldn't fault the quality of food and it was really nice.

We stayed in the Talbot Hotel for six nights at the start of September 2024. It was a very enjoyable experience, the hotel is lovely, clean and serves great food. It is in a great location, using it as our base we got to see the Ceide Fields, Nephin Nature Park, Achill Island, Westport and Cong, among others. Most of all we would like to say a big thank you to staff members, Emma who welcomed us at check-in and who, within minutes of being told of my feather pillow allergy, sorted us with alternative pillows and quilt, Kirsty who always had a smile for us at breakfast and thanks also to Katie who made a point of fixing the security safe in the bedroom when we couldn't get it to work. Many thanks. Would definitely recommend and if ever in that neck of the woods would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at the Talbot. The women at reception were very friendly. When we were checking out they called ahead to try and find accommodations for us at our next stop in Westport. The rooms were very stylish as well. Just a unique boutique experience in Belmullet. Breakfast was great too. Dining room was beautiful and the service was excellent. The only fault was the water temperature in the shower. It kept alternating from hot to freezing cold but the night before it worked fine so maybe it just a temporary glitch. Despite that we would stay again without hesitation.
