Food was good and staff was friendly. The only issue was an unannounced service charge of 12%. I would pay it happily if I knew about this from the beginning not until when they bring the bill.

The staff were very attentive from the get-go. Creamy pints of Guinness and simple delicious food 😋. I have the Chicken Burger 🍔 . Both hit the spot . I haven't been here before so it was a pleasant surprise. 10 out of 10

Went there with five friends, my first time. We had lunch in the garden. Food very good, all were happy with their choice. Best of all was the pleasant, courteous and friendly staff !!! Thank you!

This pub serves the best food. Their Fish and chips is first class . Cooked to perfection . A crispy thin batter mouth watering GOOD. Staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

29/03/2026: Always love the Hungry Monk. Book early and make sure you get a comfortable table. Some tables are smaller for 2 or 4 and some offer some more elbow room.
09/03/2026: Managed to get a table on a Sunday. Exceptional Roast beef & yorkshire pudding. Great service & food in this long established family restaurant in Greystones.

16/03/2026: Just by chance we found this place one day and we have been here a few times so far the food is beautiful here well worth a little trip, good ingredients, good food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, clean restaurant. And you will get to meet the resident cat 🐈 who sleeps by the stove and thats a big win for me.
15/03/2026: The pork belly brunch is so damn great. I had the irish breakfast there before, and it's a good one, but the pigeon house korean pork belly is one of the best brunch dishes I ever had. You have to try it.
