The Candle Room in Killarney

Afternoon tea I had been looking forward to it for a long time. We sat in the reception lobby. The sandwiches were delicious, as was the rest. The service was friendly.

We just loved this hotel from the minute we entered the reception, the concierge was witty and welcoming, the rooms were large and very clean. The extra attention to detail like complimentary whiskey on arrival and freshly cooked scones on departure. The turn down service at night with the mint chocolate on your pillow with the ice being delivered should you want to enjoy your room with a tipple of your choice. It has that old fashion charm and focus on service that you tend to forget existed. Couldn't recommend this hotel high enough.

Lovely staff, rooms are clean but a little cold, make sure to get a room looking out on the street otherwise your view will be a brick wall.

Spent 2 nights for our anniversary over the bank holiday October weekend and we had a wonderful time. Lovely staff, comfortable room topper off with some great food & drink right in the heart of a bustling Killarney town. Highly recommend.

A wonderful Hotel with excellent caring staff. We received such a warm welcome the minute we walked in the door. The room was amazing. We were upgraded due to one of us celebrating a birthday. The staff were wonderful and caring and made our stay even better than we expected. We will definitely be back

Loved everything about The Killarney Royal, service was stellar...location ideal and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were delicious.

I can't say enough about my visit to the Killarney Royal Hotel. The staff was OUTSTANDING and made me feel right at home. The room was lovely, breakfast and restaurant food delicious, and location was great. Spending time in Killarney at the hotel was a highlight of my two week trip to Ireland.

Very good fixer price menu, quite diverse. Wine list was a little spartan though. But our waitress, Tara, was a delightful young woman. She was friendly, helpful and definitely made us feel welcome - a professional! Thank you, Tara!
