The Candle Room in Killarney

My wife and I stayed two nights in April 2025 at the Killarney Royal and had a great time! The entire experience went smoothly with all staff members being very helpful and cheerful. We especially enjoyed chatting with Aaron and Fernanda at the bar. If you are looking for a nice, central location in Killarney, give Killarney Royal a look!

Bed very comfortable and room clean..Had to ask for more hangers and a golf ball! Would have liked a shower cap and another large towel(for long haired people) Curtain in bathroom needs to be replaced(mould on the bottom of it) Shower pressure good..Restaurant and breakfast staff excellent.

We had a lovely stay, nice cozy hotel, location is perfect, everything on the foot step, all the staff is nice.

Nuala, Valeria and all the team at Killarney Royal gave us the best welcome ever and made sure we had a most memoriable mid term treat, Roxanne at the leisure centre so kindly dried our daughters hair and pleated it to such a wow standard it would not be matched at any hair salon, looking forward to returning to the Killarney Royal again. We had a lovely stay at the Killarney Royal. Upon arrival, We felt very welcomed. The staff are very attentive. Very happy to help and provide any information about local amenities. The food is excellent and the breakfast is very hearty. My husband and I want to give a special mention to the barman, Aaron. He has great banter with customers and is very easy to have the chats with! His cocktails are superb. We had a great evening. We hope to stay again.

Fantastic in every way especially the staff

I loved to stay in Killarney Royal Hotel, great food and staff! Just think it would be great to have an extra bath towel in the bathroom (min 2 per person).

Located in the heart of downtown, right where you want to be. My room was massive, with a separate bedroom and living area. They even included a golf putter and cup, so I had a blast setting up my own little mini golf course amongst the furniture and my luggage. I opted for extra amenities such as the flower bouquet, fruit basket, and box of chocolates, because why not? Each morning I ordered the full Irish breakfast with added kippers, which should satiate anyone's appetite. Even the staff were amazed that I was able to finish it all.
