It was hands down the best seafood chowder and lamb shank we had in Ireland. The seafood chowder was just seafood, no potatoes. The lamb shank was tender and melted in you mouth.

Had a great experience with Jason behind the bar. He was knowledgeable, personable and made our night cap amazing. Highly recommend a pint and a nip here with the bearded man

Had a great time here solo travelling. Stephen behind the bar was very accommodating. He made the best Irish coffee!!!!

We benefitted from local knowledge, a recc from someone who lives in the area. We've had 4 pub meals over the past few days; 2 were fantastic and this was one of those 2. We shared a generous bowl of Lamb Stew with Soda Bread and it was excellent! The other plates of food we saw looked great too. It's definitely a local favourite as there were family groups in as well as other folk and tourists like us.

The dwelling is amazing, along with live music. As a patron, you're greeted,served, then forgotten. 1 and done for me.

Had food tonight and it was lovely came out for my birthday because one September were playing, myself and my partner were drinking coors light had 3 pints ordered the 4th pint for us got 2 flat pints called back the bar man and asked him to replace them as they were dead seen him put a head on them so called him back again to replace them to see him do the same thing again ,so called another bar man and told him the 2 pints of coors where dead no gas in then to see him do the very same thing as his colleague before him do ,so asked him why did he put a head on a dead pint his answer was why are you getting smart with me ,I asked him to give me 2 pints of Heineken instead and all i got back was abuse ,never will i eat of drink there again bad bar staff that haven't a clue about pulling a pint so rude when confronted spoiled my night and my birthday.
