Sadly have to lower my rating. After ordering again here on recent visit. Service has slightly waned. We ordered a half portion, but they charged full price for the plate. I would have expected 80% but this place has become a little pricey. Wifey was upset, and after having some time to think over it hubby agrees with the principal. The food is still great here, but the standards are starting to slip.

Ok so the menu caters for the sweeter tooth. But has fantastic cafe meal choices that will leave you coming back for more. What really impresses me most ... is the unique twists and diverse ideas in this menu.
But the biggest problem with the menu, the words doesn't do justice to the plate. If they had pictures or some kind of taste vision ...
Personally I have tried the Brioche and Mushrooms, Brioche French Toast and the Pulled Pork Nachos. Of course not on the same sitting, but I am tempted.
I was thoroughly impressed with each dish for differing reasons. The Brioche and Mushrooms was actually rich, saviory and creamy. My favorite, when reading the menu it wasn't my first choice and only tried it because I like to try new things. The words on the menu didn't convey the dish I thought it was, but I am glad I did and it was such a surprise.
The Brioche French Toast was so indulgent, my heart could not take any more. The Pulled Pork Nachos, another worrying choice, as pulled pork can often be bland, but was far from it and left me so impressed.
I also sampled my wife's dishes. The shrimp PO Boy, deep fried shrimp in a Baguette. It was light and fluffy battered shrimp, tender and beautifully cooked. I would highly recommend this everytime.
However, sadly, the Sausage Burger is the only option on the menu (of which we tried) that I would not recommend. It comes with cheese, making it a little on the greasy side, and the sausage meat was very bland. If I was to serve this I would saute onions (dry pat) instead and season the meat with sea salt and black pepper.
On a final note, what I will say about sitting outside. Because of the tall building, it casts a shadow on seating area until around 3pm. So a jumper is handy as it can be breeze and cool.
And for bonus points ... they serve an number of alcoholic drinks, cocktails and IPAs ... A must on a hot summer day. +1 for serving Jack the Lad and Mescan IPA.

I had a delightful lunch date with my family! I had been eager to dine at this establishment, and it exceeded my expectations. I savored the fish tacos, which were exceptionally flavorful, particularly the mango salsa. The waffle chicken stack was also well-seasoned and delicious. The laksa special is highly recommended. The portions were generous. There is an outdoor seating area, which allowed our small paw-buddy companion to enjoy the ambiance as well.
It is a wonderful casual dining establishment with reasonable prices. The staff members were courteous, and the restrooms were adequately clean. However, I would kindly suggest that the tables be wiped before seating customers in the future.

Great stop for lunch overlooking the park. Friendly, attentive service (checked in twice!). Simple outdoor picnic table-style seating; half the tables covered/enclosed on 3 sides. Choose your adventure.
KFC Sandwich is extremely delicious—best crispy chicken sambo I’ve had in the country!
Pulled lamb sandwich on the brunch special menu (16/9/24) was just okay—lamb was dry and could’ve benefited from rehydrating in broth or mixing with a sauce or chutney (‘twas served with chimichurri, but that wasn’t up to the task).
Excellent choice of tasty sides/chips and drinks.
Will definitely return!

I love the Creel. I've eaten here many times and love it. It isn't the cheapest place in town but the food is generally very good.

We had breakfast here yesterday. My husband had the full Irish which was huge and very tasty. I ordered pancakes with rashers and maple syrup. Three pancakes, each about an inch thick, were served. They were very heavy and I could only eat one. Not nice at all. There was granola scattered around the plate. This tasted very nice and I would like to try that on its own. If you like huge portions this place might be for you.
Lovely staff. Sat outside for my first Irish breakfast very very nice. .I had a pot of tea with loose leaf tasty tea . Will def recommend
