The Crowe's Nest in Conga

Unfortunately the food fell short of expectations this time, roast potatoes came out cold and the veg also. On a plus note the beef was very good, the service was very good also

Dropped in on a whim for Breakfast. We had a magnificent view across the Vale of Aylesbury, Mentmore Towers basking in the sunlight and could see miles across the Vale to the wind turbines the other side of the A5 past Leighton Buzzard. There was a low laying mist, so it looked almost coastal. Food was, as usual, very nice. We love that you can pick what you want and the portion size too. Icing on the cake for us was our lovely lady waitress. Only two on front of house, the waitress plus her manager. She worked at pace, but still had a moment for a happy chat with her customers. Clearly someone who was enjoying her job. All this for just over a tenner each. There's a reason we go there a few times a year.

Food was really nice. Server was Katie G and she was so lovely, very friendly and excellent with the children. Very happy and helpful. Toilets could do with a good clean or revamp only downside to restaurant.

It is not an understatement to say we have been using Crows Nest for years, ever since moving to Tring 14 years ago. There is not one moment, over the 14 years that I have ever left here disappointed. We have been here for family get togethers, Boxing day, Birthdays, casual chats, meetings and even breakfast! Each time, the food has been great, the staff are lovely and nothing short of hospitable. It has a varied menu and it is part of a franchise so look out for beefeater and you'll feel right at home. The car park is of a decent size, the garden too which includes a play area whilst overlooking the most gorgeous view of Tring and Ivinghoe. Honestly I'd recommend.

Unfortunately food was indifferent , staff were very good and helpful but where in God's name do you buy your chicken , must come from Dunlops . Unfortunately this place has dropped a few notches since we last visited , no problem with staff but sort out the food .

Great experience the kids loved it the brisket was well soft and stake cheesy garlic bread was really amazing also

Had a lovely meal as just as a walk-in on a Friday afternoon, lovely food and very pleasant friendly staff.

Love coming here, the food is good for a beefeater the deals in they have are my favourite I get to have a few drinks and nibbles, the staff are always so polite and accommodating I have to say about Andrew the deputy/acting manager he is a gem can always guarantee if I have had a bad day he lightens the mood, so friendly I recently came with my 6 month old grandson and helped seat us with a high chair and checked on us he is a credit to the crow nest

Better and cheaper than doing it yourself, snd no washing up afterwords either.

Great place for food, but if you want to go on Sunday lunchtime you need to book in advance, it gets very busy.
