The Elm Tree in Cork

We stopped in on our way from West cork to Laois on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The manager who welcomed us was really friendly and so helpful with the allergen menus. I've actually never seen another restaurant do this so well. They were able to enter into a tablet what my husband couldnt eat and it then showed a personalised menu with all the items that he could have! They also had a full vegan menu with loads of choice for me. The vegan menu was really well thought out and not just a token dish as you usually find in many restaurants. The food was great and we had lovely mocktails too. Cathering so well for special diets makes this a really inclusive restaurant. Well done to them! We will be back!

Had the carvery at lunchtime today. Absolutely beautiful food cooked to perfection. Could not fault. Service was excellent. Resteraunt was gleaming. Looking forward to my next visit.

Absolutely blown away by my meal at The Elm Tree. The beef was to die for cooked to perfection and absolutely gorgeous. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I’m already thinking about the next time I’ll be back! So many restaurants these days can be hit or miss, but this place is a solid 10/10 they’ve nailed it. And the service? Spot on. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend. A real gem. 👏

If you happen to come by this place go for it. One of the best places I have eaten on my trip to Ireland. Service is fast and the food is excellent.

beautiful place to eat...Always enjoy every meal I have here. My biggest problem was I wanted everything on the menu so choosing was difficult ha ! friendly helpful staff & great valu for money ......always a pleasure !

What a pleasant surprise. Food and service were impeccable. We also really enjoyed the live music. The fish and chips looked amazing. We had the featherblade and the super salad and they were both really tasty

En un viaje a Cork nos invitaron a una cena en Elm Tree. Es un restaurante fabuloso - muy elegante. El servicio era bueno, y la comida y las bebidas vienen dentro de buen tiempo después de pedir. Pedí la ensalada satay de pollo - estaba muy bueno. La pavlova era realmente excelente - era ligero, esponjoso y dulce.

Fuimos a cenar esta noche con la familia . . . mesa encantadora en la zona trasera por el pequeño bar y fuego . . . la comida era excelente, pero el servicio era impactante . . . Esperábamos 40 minutos para nuestra primera bebida esto fue después de preguntarle al camarero 3 veces al respecto. . . . en realidad teníamos nuestro entrante entregado antes de la bebida. . el camarero seguía desapareciendo. . . las mesas de nuestra sección no estaban cubiertas. . . pedimos más agua otras 3 veces. . . pero nunca llegó. . . en una etapa no había camarero en la sección en absoluto. . . . cuando llegó fue un esfuerzo para él. . . . Comida hermosa, pero por favor un poco de sacudida para algunos miembros del personal de espera.
