The Fig Tree Restaurant in Kilkenny

We were so pleased to find this lovely gem of a cafe on our visit to Kilkenny. It was so peaceful, with great service, and tasty food. I was able to get a couple of different gluten free options, including a scone and a sandwich - they also mentioned vegetarian options on the menu!

I stopped at this lovely place for lunch. They have a wide selection of typical breakfast items, as well as sandwiches and savory dishes. I think there's something for everyone. I tried the scrambled eggs, scones, and tea. The portions were generous for a very reasonable price. I received a warm and friendly welcome. A great place to eat when visiting Kilkenny.

The restaurant is spread across several floors. Simple but welcoming. Friendly and attentive service. Overall, highly recommended.

Really good food. Great value for money. With their own mayo and dressing brands! Plant based options were good.
