The Fish Box in An daingean

We stumbled upon fish box when looking for a last minute table, for 6 people on a windy, wet night! They couldn't squeeze us in straight away but told us to wait 25 mins and recommended a great bar up the road to try while we waited. The staff were so friendly and fun and we felt really welcome! The menu was great, loads of gluten free options and varied selection of dishes. Everyone in our party really enjoyed it!

Excellent service, attentive and the fish is out of this world delicious. The fish cakes are full of fish, shrimp and so very good. Everything was fresh, not greasy and seasoned to perfection. It's affordable especially when traveling. Highly recommend.

Our dinner at The Fish Box was delightful although the place was packed. Service was friendly and efficient. Good number of local draught beers which were quite nice and went well with the food. The local seafood was fresh and flavorful. Great for a casual meal as we had just gotten into Dingle that afternoon. Definitely recommend!

We were so surprised to find fresh caught, crispy and delicious gluten free fish and chips. Our service very good and we loved the atmosphere. It gets busy, but we were able to get a seat quickly. We highly recommend this place if you're in Dingle.

You can't go wrong here. We had to wait around 30 minutes, but it was well worth it. The fish of the day was hake, and my partner loved it. I devoured the mussels. Super friendly service and reasonable prices.

Best meal we had during our 12 day Ireland trip. The seafood is so fresh and tastes amazing. Atmosphere is great. Would recommend this as a must-try to anyone visiting Dingle.

During our 4 days stay at Dingle, we had 3 meals at Fish Box. Excellent quality, good value for money. The service was quick. They all were gas and always with a sweet smile. The vegetarian option of Tadka Dahl was very yummy and filling

This restaurant came highly rated. There was a line and a wait. But when we were searched the fish and chips were 3rd rate. Jake was the chosen fish. It was mushy and lacked the flaky structure of a proper Irish Fish and Chip meal. The chips were fragments—as if from the bottom of somewhere. The salad served in the plate was overloaded with red onion that overpowered the attempt to offer a light balance to the meal. The reason this restaurant least achieved a 3 was due in dual part to the amazing job done by the Host. He was professional and friendly. The wait staff was adequate but not exceptional. What was also excellent was the seafood chowder. This cup will be in my dreams for weeks. I would recommend another restaurant if visiting Dingle— if you want high quality Fish and Chios!
