The Friary in Cork

The best pub in the city - and that is a very high bar to clear. Great service, great beers and a great vibe.

Excellent pub! I cannot put it into words how much the atmosphere, regular patrons and the staff make this one of, if not the best, pubs in the city of Cork! The lines are spotless, the pints, crisp and sharp and the spirits selection can meet almost all tastes. If you’re a fan of whiskey and or IPA’s, you’ll be happy as a pig in shit. 10/10!

This place just brightened my day

Very chill dive bar but my favorite part is all the Nic Cage stuff. Must drink when in Cork. Bartender was super cool and friendly.

Really helpful and nice staff here. Plus they have a great spirits selection. Most places have the same popular spirits but this place has great local spirits like maharani and minke gin.

A must for anyone who likes a great tasting beer in a bar with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Nicholas Cage Loos look class too🍻👌🏼

New to Cork we decided to look for a local pub with a quiz on for a good night out. We found THE place to be! It was amazingly great fun (hard quiz though). The people made us directly feel welcome, we sang together with the music quiz and had a bit of a banter with the team. Great drinks as well. Do make it a point to come here when you are in the city!

Best Pub Quiz I ever had. So much fun. The crowd was wild. The Host was a wild horse energizing everyone. Can recommend to anyone in search for an amazing night

The Best Pub in Cork, Chill Vibes, Great Atmosphere and Tasty Tasty Pints. The Bar Staff are the Friendliest to be found in Cork and Mike is an Absolute Gentleman. All the Beers here are Independent Brews and there is a Range to suit All Tastes which Rotates regularly. The more Uncharitable might call this bar Small or Snug, but it has Big Character and is the Perfect Place for a few Gentle Pints in an Intimate Setting. A Real Community. P. S. Strange and wonderful place, reminiscent of ruin bars in Budapest. Friendly proprietor, feels like it's a labour of love. Can't wait to be back
