I have Coeliac Disease so very impressed when the staff ensured my chips (best ever as always) were cooked separately and away from battered fish in other fryer without fuss. The best service and best chips .Thank you all

Lemon Tree

28/07/2024: Went there for Sunday lunch. Food was nice and service only ok. Main course 23euro .Half portion 20 euro and a lot less food for that 20 euro. Not value for money
27/07/2024: My wife and I just returned from a 2 week vacation self-touring southern Ireland, which included a 2 night stay at the Blarney Castle Hotel. The hotel was another excellent stop on our trip. It is located about 20 minutes outside of Cork, in a small and quiet community. The hotel is right across the road from Blarney Castle and Gardens (the Blarney stone) which is super convenient if you plan on spending any time on the castle grounds. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. As was with our first hotel stay in Ireland, our hosts here were incredible. The onsite breakfast included in the stay was fantastic. The owners host a private guest restaurant where they provided an excellent choice of food and the service was outstanding. The owner took time to talk to us every morning, and we especially appreciated the advice we received about the surrounding local area. If you are looking for souvenirs, wait until you get to Blarney. The Blarney Woolen Mills is located right around the block from the hotel, and was by far the best store for prices and selection of clothing, jewelry, shot glasses, etc. If your destination is Cork, it is about a 20 minute bus/cab ride or drive. But the quiet location and local atmosphere of this place (i.e. a local pub downstairs with local music and dance!) far outweigh the distance you have to travel to get to the city for nightlife activities.
